Brad Keller Struggles Again On Thursday
4 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brad Keller had another rough outing on Thursday against the Chicago White Sox. Keller lasted just 3 1/3 innings and allowed six hits, three walks and four earned runs while striking out three. He now has a 19.29 ERA and 4.29 WHIP over two brief starts. Keller was fantastic last year and entered the 2021 season as the Royals' No. 1 starting pitcher. He should have a significant leash due to his success last year, but fantasy managers should be hesitant to trust him at this point. If you have the bench space in a deep league or AL-only league, he's worth holding onto for at least a few more starts, but if there's a hot name on the waiver wire and he's your to cut candidate, then you're free to move on. His next start will be on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Angels.
