Anthony Edwards Cited For Assault

Following the Game 5 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night, the 21-year-old allegedly swung a folding chair that struck two female employees. Fortunately, the injuries suffered by the women weren't severe. Edwards, who averaged a career-high 24.6 points during the 2022-23 campaign, is scheduled for court on June 9 in Denver. If convicted, he could face jail time and a fine. The Timberwolves declined to comment on the situation.
