4 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Andrew Benintendi is off to a quiet start to his Royals career. He's yet to hit an extra-base hit and is slashing .207/.281/.207. On Sunday, he went 1-for-4 with a walk. He recorded his first RBI of the year in the game and also stole his first base of the year. The Royals have remained confident in him as he's hit second in the lineup in each game this year. He's been in a great spot to produce, hitting after leadoff man Whit Merrifield with Salvador Perez and Carlos Santana behind him. Benintendi should be able to score a decent amount of runs this year, but his fantasy value doesn't extend much past that.
