4 years agoCleveland Indians shortstop/outfielder Amed Rosario will lead off for the first time this year on Friday as the team takes on Julio Teheran and the Detroit Tigers. Rosario is also drawing his first start of the year in center field in the game. The Indians have hinted that Rosario could see extended playing time in center field going forward as Andre Gimenez has become the team's primary shortstop. Rosario has shown some promise at the plate so far this year. He's gone 3-for-8 with a walk and two runs. He may be in position for more regular playing time soon.
