Akil Baddoo Hits Grand Slam On Monday
4 years agoDetroit Tigers rookie outfielder Akil Baddoo had another memorable game in his second-career start against the Minnesota Twins on Monday. Baddoo hit a ninth inning grand slam off Randy Dobnak. He has now homered in each of his first two MLB games. Baddoo went 2-for-4 overall in the game. He played center field in this game after playing left field on Sunday. That versatility could go a long way in helping him find regular playing time with the Tigers, who have a bit of a crowded outfield at this point. If you're in a deep league or an AL-only league and you need outfield depth, Baddoo might be worth taking a flyer on.
