Adam Thielen Agrees To Deal With Carolina
2 years agoFree-agent wide receiver Adam Thielen agreed to a three-year, $25 million deal with the Panthers on Sunday. The Panthers recently sent D.J. Moore to Chicago, so there was a glaring hole at the position. The two-time Pro Bowl wideout has accumulated 534 catches for 6,682 yards and 55 touchdowns during his career. Arguably, Thielen's best seasons have occurred in the last three years, so there could be plenty of gas left in the tank. He has also stayed relatively healthy since entering the league in 2014, which has been another added perk for fantasy managers. However, Carolina is in rebuilding mode, and instability at the quarterback spot significantly lowers his ceiling heading into the 2023-24 campaign. Still, Thielen is certainly worth considering during fantasy drafts, even if his attractiveness on the fantasy end isn't as high as it once was.
