2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers left-hander Aaron Ashby (shoulder) will come off the 15-day injured list to start a bullpen game on Tuesday against the New York Mets, according to skipper Craig Counsell. Ashby has been out since late August with left shoulder inflammation, but he'll return to the team for the final few weeks of the regular season as the Brew Crew try to earn the last wild-card spot in the National League. The 24-year-old southpaw is expected to pitch mostly in a relief role for Milwaukee the rest of the way, which makes him unattractive in fantasy. In 23 appearances (17 starts) for the Brewers in 2022, Ashby has gone 2-10 with a 4.58 ERA (4.05 FIP), a 1.43 WHIP, 116 strikeouts and 43 walks over 96 1/3 frames.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
