2 years agoAccording to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the 49ers picked up the fifth-year option on wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. He is now projected to earn just over $14 million in 2024. While the move keeps the wideout in San Francisco for another year, it allows both sides to work out a long-term extension. The 25-year-old was selected with the No. 25 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and has had a solid career thus far. However, Aiyuk is coming off the best season in the NFL, finishing the 2022-23 campaign with 78 catches (114 targets) for 1,015 yards and eight touchdowns. Despite plenty of mouths to feed on the offensive end in San Francisco, Aiyuk has a good chance to improve on last season's numbers. He has also done a great job of staying healthy, which is a bonus for fantasy managers.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
