BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 27% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Milwaukee Brewers second baseman Kolten Wong has been on an absolute tear lately. He has recorded multiple hits in each of his past four games, going 10-for-17 with three doubles and a home run over the four-game stretch.
Wong has led off each of the 10 games he's started this year, his first season with the Brewers after spending nine seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals. Apart from the built-in lure of the leadoff position, Wong has been flashing some previously unseen power potential this past week. This has led to him registering a 36.7% hard-hit rate on the year, up from just 26.6% last year. He's also shown great plate discipline in the early going this year. He has a 1:1 K/BB ratio and a 13.6% walk rate, which is well above last year's 9.6% clip.
Wong should be added in all leagues while he's on this streak. Second base is one of the weakest positions in fantasy. Wong will get tons of plate appearances at the top of the Brewers' order so even when his bat slows down, he'll still produce a solid amount of hits and runs.
