ANALYSIS: Miami Marlins first baseman Jesus Aguilar was a terror on San Francisco Giants pitchers this past weekend. He hit home runs in each of the last three games of the series, an especially tough feat in the pitcher-friendly Oracle Park.

Aguilar hadn't homered through his first 16 games of the year before this past weekend's series. Yet after the home run burst, his season-long numbers look quite good. He has a .292/.376/.472 slash line with four doubles to go along with this three home runs. He also has 17 RBI and 10 runs. The most impressive element of his game so far this year, however, has been his plate discipline. He currently has a 14.1% strikeout rate and a 12.9% walk rate.
If you have an open infield or utility or even first base slot, Aguilar is a great player to target on the waiver wire this week. He's the everyday No. 3 hitter in the Marlins lineup. Start him as long as he remains hot and you could even ride him throughout the year as he has legitimate 25-to-30 home run potential.
