BALLER MOVE: Add in 12-Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 41% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Kansas City Royals corner infielder/outfielder Hunter Dozier is hitless through 11 at-bats so far this year. On Opening Day, he drew a walk and also had an RBI and a run scored, but all in all, it's been a rough start to the year for Dozier.
In 2019, Dozier had his breakout year, slashing .279/.348/.522 with 26 home runs, 84 RBI, 75 runs, and a Major League-leading 10 triples. He struggled with injuries last year and only managed to play 44 games, slashing .228/.344/.392 with six home runs, 12 RBI and 29 runs.
Dozier has hit sixth in the lineup in each of the team's past two games, right behind Salvador Perez and Jorge Soler. The Royals have an improved offense this year that should benefit everyone from top to bottom, Dozier included. He may not match his sturdy numbers from his 2019 breakout campaign, but even a year with similar production to last year should enable him to be a valuable contributor in many fantasy leagues, especially with his triple position eligibility in most formats. Add him in 12-team leagues and look for him to start putting things together soon.
