Heading into Week 7, the Panthers traded running back Christian McCaffrey to the 49ers. Getting the superstar on the roster was a significant acquisition, although it still didn't help San Fransico get past the Kansas City Chiefs. As McCaffrey familiarizes himself with the offense, his new team could be a force come playoff time.
The 49ers weren't the only club that added, with the Jets making a deal to acquire James Robinson from the Jaguars. Unfortunately, New York lost rookie Breece Hall for the rest of the year due to a knee injury, so obtaining Robinson was necessary.

FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 8 DFS Lineup Picks
Jalen Hurts - vs. PIT ($9,200)
Hurts can thrive as a passer or runner, making him one of the most lethal fantasy options in the league. The Oklahoma alum had only 155 yards against the Cowboys in Week 6, although he still threw two touchdowns. With a week off to rest, Hurts will have a chance to keep his fantastic season going against a Steelers defense that has struggled against opposing quarterbacks.
Tua Tagovailoa - @ DET ($7,700)
Tagovailoa missed almost a month due to a concussion. However, he returned on Sunday night against the Steelers and threw for 261 yards and a touchdown. He completed only 60% of his attempts. But it was still a solid effort. The Lions' struggles on the defensive end this season are well-known, so the signal-caller will probably draw plenty of interest from DFS managers.
Also Consider: Kyler Murray (8,200)
FanDuel Running Backs - Week 8 DFS Lineup Picks
Derrick Henry - @ HOU ($10,000)
Henry had 30 carries during the Week 7 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He finished with a season-high 128 yards while averaging 4.3 yards per carry. King Henry and the Titans will host Houston on Sunday. The Texans have allowed more fantasy points per game to opposing running backs than any other team in the NFL, giving the veteran a favorable outlook in Week 8.
Josh Jacobs - @ NO ($9,000)
Jacobs has been on a roll. He's scored six times in his last three games while totaling 441 yards on the ground. The 24-year-old is also currently tied with Nick Chubb for a league-leading six touchdowns inside the red zone. Jacobs is likely to remain heavily involved in Week 8 against the New Orleans Saints. He has been limited at practice throughout the week because of a foot injury, although he should be good to go.
Tony Pollard - vs. CHI ($6,300)
Ezekiel Elliott is expected to sit versus the Bears because of a knee injury, allowing Tony Pollard to be the No. 1 option out of the backfield. The former Memphis Tiger has combined for only 83 yards in his three career starts. Yet, he has two rushing touchdowns while remaining involved as a pass-catcher. His rostering cost is too good to ignore against a Bears defense that won't have Robert Quinn moving forward.
Also Consider: Saquon Barkley ($9,500), Alvin Kamara ($7,800), Raheem Mostert ($6,800)
FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 8 DFS Lineup Picks
Justin Jefferson - vs. ARI ($9,000)
Fresh off a bye week, Jefferson will be well-rested and ready to make some noise for DFS managers versus the Cardinals on Sunday. The wideout has been targeted at least 11 times in four of his six games in 2022-23. However, he hasn't had a touchdown since the Week 1 matchup with the Packers. With that said, Jefferson is due for a breakout, and even if he doesn't score, he should still be productive based on volume.
Tyreek Hill - @ DET ($8,700)
The Lions have surrendered 32 points and allowed 412 total yards per game this season, with both marks being the worst in the National Football League. If the Dolphins hope to remain in the win column, Tua Tagovailoa will need to look in Hill's direction often, even more so if Jaylen Waddle can't suit up.
DeAndre Hopkins - @ MIN ($7,900)
Hopkins returned in Week 7 after he missed the first six games of the season due to suspension. He didn't miss a beat, bringing in 10 of his 14 targets for 103 yards. The Cardinals' offense was dealt a tough blow after Marquise Brown landed on the injured reserve list with an ankle injury. While the team acquired Robbie Anderson after his fallout with the Panthers' coaching staff, Hopkins will remain the top wideout.
Also Consider: Davante Adams ($8,500), A.J. Brown ($8,200), DJ Moore ($6,200), Drake London ($5,600), Mack Hollins ($5,600)
FanDuel Tight Ends - Week 8 DFS Lineup Picks
Zach Ertz - @ MIN ($6,000)
Unquestionably, Marquise Brown and DeAndre Hopkins on the field at once would have kept others from getting targets from Kyler Murray. Yet, with Brown injured, others will have to step up. While Hopkins will still command attention, Ertz may see a significant rise in production moving ahead. With the limited number of quality options at the tight end position, Ertz is worth a roster spot based on his upside alone.
Also Consider: Dallas Goedert ($5,900), Irv Smith Jr. ($5,000)
