BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 58% of Fleaflicker Leagues
EXPERT ANALYSIS: The Reds' youth movement is a necessary step for a rebuilding franchise stuck in last place. With all the young outfielders coming up in Cincinnati, it's easy to forget Eugenio Suarez is a big part of that movement at just 25 years old. Suarez started the year hot, but quickly faded and became droppable by the All-Star break for owners in shallow leagues. His power production has remained consistent, but he only managed a .228 batting average in the first half. In the second half, Suarez is up to .291 in 148 at-bats. He has maintained a solid, but not spectacular 3.9% HR%, averaging a HR every 23 AB. The RBI production is still there, with 13 in August. The most encouraging thing is that Suarez's average has climbed every month since May. He has not been prone to huge streaks or slumps, making him a reliable, if unexciting CI/MI for your fantasy lineup. Owners looking to maintain a lead in the standings might benefit from Suarez rather than some riskier waiver wire options.
