BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 30% of Fleaflicker Leagues
EXPERT ANALYSIS: Picking up where he left off before injury, C.J. Cron is driving in runs at a high enough pace to help all mixed league owners at this crucial time. You may remember Cron was on a ridiculous tear as July broke, driving in 17 runs in 33 at-bats. Then, Cron suffered a broken hand that required surgery and a six week recovery. It didn't take long for Cron to start another hot streak. He has five home runs and 10 RBI in the past 11 games, hitting cleanup behind a red-hot Albert Pujols. Cron isn't just selling out for power either, hitting .370 over the past two weeks. Cron is showing improved discipline and as a result has already matched his career high in nearly every category. His 3.00 K/BB is down from 4.82 last season and 6.10 his rookie year. Cron's choice spot in the lineup behind two superstars will continue to provide plentiful RBI opportunities. He waited a couple of months to turn it on, but don't discount him for that. When healthy, there have been few hitters as consistently productive in the second half.
