Amari Cooper Officially Ruled Out for Game
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper re-aggravated his quad and will sit for the rest of this game. We don't know just how serious the aggravation is, but the Cowboys will need him next week at home against the Philadelphia Eagles. We'll know more tomorrow.
RotoBaller 5 years agoAmari Cooper Aggravates Quad, Questionable to Return
Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver Amari Cooper has been dealing with a quad injury over the last couple weeks, and he aggravated it on the Cowboys second drive of the game. He’s sitting on the bench without his helmet and not on the bike or jogging, so things don’t look too great for Amari to return […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoWill Dissly Ruled Out With Achilles Injury
Seattle Seahawks tight end Dissly missed last season with an injury to his right knee, so this is a brand new injury to his left Achilles. We don't know the severity yet, but it was bad enough to immediately rule him out for the rest of the game. It took him a couple of minutes […]

We're working with another two-game slate here, but these games both have totals exceeding 55. ULM and Texas State will square off in what will be one of the more exciting games of the weekend. Syracuse and NC State should be exciting as well, with two offenses that can score the ball. Let's dive in […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoFanDuel TNF DFS Lineup Picks: Daily Fantasy Football for Week 6
We have a very uneven matchup tonight between the healthy New England Patriots and the already terrible, also beat-up New York Football Giants. We're looking at just a 17-point spread, which will be interesting to watch how Danny Dimes keeps it that close. We'll be diving into the showdown slate, where there's plenty of money […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoJack Flaherty Gets Win, Goes Six Strong Innings in Game 5
St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty was able to pitch with a 10-plus run lead for the entire game, so there wasn’t much to stress about in Game 5 of the National League Division Series against the Braves. Still, he went six innings, struck out eight and allowed just one run on a solo […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoMax Muncy Homers in First Inning Off Stephen Strasburg
Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy is on fire this series, clocking his third home run in five games in the first inning in Game 5 of the National League Division Series. Joc Pederson hit a ground-rule double through the wall a batter before, and Muncy pulled a high fastball over the right field fence […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoCardinals Slug Their Way to NLCS
The Cardinals, who were healthy underdogs going into this series, have taken three of five over the Braves and move on to face either the Dodgers or Nationals in the NLCS. They exploded with 10 first-inning runs in game five and never looked back. Jack Flaherty pitched a solid game and they ended up taking […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoCardinals Stun Braves With 10 First-Inning Runs
Wow. In a deemed pick-em by Vegas, Jack Flaherty and Mike Foltynewicz were supposed to duel and hold each other to one or two runs, at most. The Cardinals had other ideas, demolishing Foltynewicz and putting up 10 runs in the first inning. What might be more surprising is the Cardinals put up 10 runs […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoDraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (10/9/19): MLB DFS Lineups
It's game 5 day! We have two game fives on our hands today and it's going to be a fun night of baseball. The Braves and Cardinals face off first, with Jack Flaherty and Mike Foltynewicz on the mound. We're currently looking at a pick-em from Vegas. The Nationals aren't so lucky, going into Los […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoRays Down Astros 4-1 to Force Game 5
The Rays bullpen stepped up huge, allowing just one run over nine innings of work. Diego Castillo started it off, but Ryan Yarbrough and Nick Anderson did the bulk of the work. Blake Snell came in for two batters in the ninth and closed it out with runners on first and third. On offense, the […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoJustin Verlander Goes 3.2 Innings, Allows Four Runs
It was a terrible day on the mound for Verlander, who gave up three runs in the first inning and another home run to Willy Adames in the fourth. He was pitching in just three days rest and it obviously bothered him. He left pitches over the plate that we usually wouldn’t see and his […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoRyan Yarbrough Goes Two Shutout Innings in Relief
Yarbrough relieved Diego Castillo after just 1.2 innings and went through the order once. He gave up two hits and was pretty lucky with Jose Altuve being thrown out trying to get home on the Alvarez double. Nick Anderson, who has been phenomenal this season, has taken over and will likely get two innings as […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoWilly Adames Homers Off Verlander to Give Astros 4-0
The Rays continue to grow the gap between these teams in game four, with Willy Adames mutilating a pitch 419 feet to left-center. Adames isn’t the greatest hitter against righties that can throw hard, but Verlander is obviously not his usual-self and has left a few pitches over the plate. Let’s see if this Rays […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoTommy Pham Homers to Open Game 4
Pham has been a lot better against lefties this season, but he jumped on a possibly-tired Justin Verlander and sent a 388-foot bomb to left-center. Verlander wasn’t sharp in the first inning, allowing three runs and four hits. The Rays currently lead 3-0 and are battling with an offense that can go crazy at any […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoJustin Verlander Gives Up Three Runs In First Inning
Verlander is coming off of three days rest and got roughed up in the first inning by these Rays. Tommy Pham homered in the two-hole, followed by an Avisail Garcia single and Ji-Man Choi walk. A single by D’Arnaud and a double by Wendle drove the pair in and gave the Rays an early 3-0 […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoDiego Castillo Strikes out Three in 1.2 Innings
Castillo wasn’t asked to do much tonight, but he did his job. He struck out three batters, walked one and gave up a single. The Astros had already planned to bring Yarbrough in when Reddick was coming to the plate, so he got to face a lefty and so Castillo didn’t have to see anyone […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoAngels Expected To Sign Joe Maddon
It's looking like Maddon will return to organization he started his career and coached 31 years at. Maddon and the Chicago Cubs had an extremely disappointing season and peacefully parted ways after the regular season. According to Buster Olney, Maddon is the Angels' top choice and the Angels are Maddon's top choice. Unless something goes […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoDiego Castillo Will Head Bullpen Game 4 for Rays
The Rays will toss Diego Castillo our there for two or three innings before handing the ball to one of the best bullpens in baseball. They are pretty tired, but there’s no time for that right now. It’s playoff baseball and all hands are on deck. They’ll certainly need to be if the Rays have […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoFanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (10/8/19): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice
We only have one MLB game on the slate today, but it's a fun one between the Rays and Astros. The Astros are tossing Justin Verlander on three days rest, so that will be very interesting to see how that plays out. On the Rays side, it'll be a bullpen game headed by Diego Castillo. […]

We only have one game on Wednesday night, and it’s a showdown between Appalachian State and Louisiana-Lafayette. We’re looking at a 66 over/under with ULL being a 1.5 point favorite. Both of these teams like to keep it on the ground, but score a ton of points. Let’s dive into this game and figure out […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoNationals Beat Dodgers 6-1, Force Game 5 in Los Angeles
The Dodgers opened up the scoring with a first-inning home run off the bat of Justin Turner. What they didn’t know at the time was that they wouldn’t score another run all night. The Nationals put up six runs, led by a Ryan Zimmerman three-run home run and Anthony Rendon’s three-RBI’s. They’ll now head to […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoAnthony Rendon Drives In Three Runs In Game 4 Win
Rendon got two sacrificed flies up and an RBI single, finishing with three RBI’s on the night. It’s no surprise, as he’s been one of the best hitters in baseball all season long (.406 wOBA). The Nationals got a 6-1 win in game 4 and will now face Walker Buehler on the road in Los […]
RotoBaller 5 years agoCardinals Bullpen Comes Up Huge in Game 4
After Dakota Hudson and poor fielding allowed four runs through the first four innings, the Cardinals bullpen came in and shut down the remaining 5.1 innings, allowing just three hits and striking out eight. They gave the Cardinals a chance to come back and we’re now headed to a game 5 in Atlanta.
