ANALYSIS: You would think defenses know to cover Rashid Shaheed on go routes. And yet, he's running right by them into the end zone.
In Week 1, the speedster caught a 59-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter. In Week 2, he upped his game by catching a 70-yard score over two Dallas defenders. He's the WR9 in PPR formats (and the WR5 in non-PPR) through Sunday's action.
Derek Carr's 70-yard TD to Rashid Shaheed traveled 54.5 yards in the air, Shaheed's 7th reception over 50 yards of air distance since the start of 2023, most in the NFL.
No other receiver has more than four.

Unlike his first two seasons, Shaheed isn't a one-trick pony. He's a vital cog in this improved New Orleans offense. He has a 23.7% target rate and leads wide receivers in yards per target (18.1). His days could have been even bigger if the Saints hadn't blown out both of their opponents thus far.
Shaheed has moved into the WR3 territory with the weekly upside of a WR2. All it takes is one touch for him to turn a zero into fantasy gold.
