WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks, Betting Picks (7/7/22): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel, Best Bets

WNBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball stock

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks and betting picks for 7/7/22. Expert WNBA DFS advice for DraftKings and FanDuel and today's best bets.

The WNBA heads into the All-Star break after Thursday's games, which means this is your last chance until next Tuesday to play some WNBA fantasy. With three games on tonight's slate, there's a lot of good action, including a battle between New York and Phoenix, two teams that need wins to stay in the playoff hunt.

I'll be providing daily fantasy lineup picks for the WNBA this season here at RotoBaller. In addition, I'll be sprinkling in some basic betting picks. Not going to get complicated since there's limited space in this piece, but I'll throw you a bet or two each day that I like and, because I think this is important, that I'll be making myself.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/7/22. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The slates lock on 7/7/2022 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Picks: Forward

Breanna Stewart (Seattle Storm) - @ LA - DK: @11,400; FD: $8,800

The last time Stewie faced LA, she had 28 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal. The time before that, she had 28 points, seven rebounds, two assists and one steal. She's had the Sparks number this season. I'll keep this blurb short: play Breanna Stewart.

Emily Engstler (Indiana Fever) - vs CHI - DK: @7,100; FD: $5,100

With Queen Egbo set to be out again, the Fever should start Engstler at the four again. Last time out, my advice in that situation was to play Engstler and...well, it wasn't great advice, as she finished with five points. But she did have five rebounds, one block and two steals, and the fact that she took seven shots means that there was a little more upside than what she finished with. She had one of her better games this season against the Sky, pulling down nine rebounds and blocking three shots the last time these teams met.

Han Xu (New York Liberty) - @ PHO - DK: @6,800; FD: $4,900

Look, Han Xu won't do on Thursday what she on Wednesday, which was have one of the most efficient games in WNBA history. She was 11-for-12 from the floor with 24 points, plus added eight rebounds and three assists. But she has a huge height advantage against this Mercury team, which is forced to play smaller now that Tina Charles has left the team. Han presents some really intriguing value, with her salary on DraftKings actually dropping some after Wednesday's performance. Intriguing play, even if she won't shooting 91.7% form the floor again. She's shot 50% or better in four straight games, though.

WNBA DFS Picks: Guard

Sabrina Ionescu (New York Liberty) - @ PHO - DK: @11,100; FD: $8,700

Sabrina Ionescu is coming off of one of the best games in WNBA history. Against Vegas on Wednesday night, Ionescu had the first 30-point triple double in league history, finishing with 31 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. She's now had nine or more rebounds in five consecutive games, with at least six assists in each of those as well. Sure, she might have some tired legs on Thursday that could lead to lower efficiency and fewer points, but her high usage for New York makes her someone who is in play every night when it comes to DFS, no matter the situation.

Sophie Cunningham (Phoenix Mercury) - vs NY - DK: @7,100; FD: $5,100

Cunningham has been pressed into a larger role because of the situation in Phoenix and she's largely delivering. She's now played 30-plus minutes in four consecutive games and has made at least two three-pointers in each game. Last time out, she had 10 points, six rebounds and three assists. She'll get a chance to show out offensively on Thursday against a Liberty team that just allowed 107 to Vegas on Wednesday.

Jordin Canada (Los Angeles Sparks) - vs SEA - DK: @6,500; FD: $5,600

Canada is in play on Thursday night because of the injury situation in Los Angeles. Guards Brittney Sykes, Kristi Toliver and Chennedy Carter have already been ruled out for this one, which means the Sparks are going to have to devote an absurd amount of minutes to Canada and Lexie Brown. Canada has scored in double figures in two consecutive games...which also happen to be her first games playing 30-plus minutes since May. She struggled with her shot in both of these games and still finished with solid numbers, so if Canada can just be a little more efficient on Thursday night, she'll post some solid numbers.

WNBA Betting Picks for 7/7/2022

Looking to make some WNBA bets? Let's look at some options for you.

Yesterday's Results: 1-1

Chicago Sky Spread (-9)

Chicago has been the league's best team over the last month or so. Indiana has the worst record in the WNBA. Yes, the Fever scored a shocking 89-87 win the last time these teams met, but the Fever have lost five in a row since then, with each loss coming by double digits. I'm pretty confident in the Sky for this one.

New York Liberty Spread (+4)

The Liberty are on the second night of a back-to-back and scored a huge win over the Aces last night, winning 116-107. The Mercury, meanwhile, are dealing with some stuff, like the rumors that the team is shopping Skylar Diggins-Smith. I know the Liberty could have some tired legs for this one, but I trust them to either win or keep it within four.
