WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks, Betting Picks (7/15/22): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel, Best Bets

WNBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball stock

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks and betting picks for 7/15/22. Expert WNBA DFS advice for DraftKings and FanDuel and today's best bets.

There are a couple of WNBA games on the docket for Friday night, with the Fever hosting the Lynx and the Sun taking on the Dream. The games get started early, so no need to stay up late for any West Coast WNBA games on Friday.

I'll be providing daily fantasy lineup picks for the WNBA this season here at RotoBaller. In addition, I'll be sprinkling in some basic betting picks. Not going to get complicated since there's limited space in this piece, but I'll throw you a bet or two each day that I like and, because I think this is important, that I'll be making myself.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/15/22. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The slates lock on 7/15/2022 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Picks: Forward

Jonquel Jones (Connecticut Sun) - @ ATL - DK: $11,100; FD: $8,400

Jones might not be playing at an MVP level this year, but she's still one of the W's most talented players and is a threat to destroy any team at any time. Take, for example, her last game out against Indiana. Jones scored 20 points on 7-for-15 shooting and added 14 rebounds, two assists, four blocks and one steal.

The last time Jones faced the Dream, she actually struggled though, scoring just eight points on 3-for-7 shooting with two rebounds, no assists, no blocks and one steal. Yikes. But the time before that, she had 15 points and nine boards, so I'm not going to let that one bad showing keep me from playing someone with the ceiling that Jones has.

Aerial Powers (Minnesota Lynx) - @ IND - DK: $10,900; FD: $8,100

The Lynx have been playing well lately and Powers has been a big part of that. She had 35 points and 13 boards earlier this week against the Mercury, one of two games she's had with 30-plus points in the last four games. She's had 40-plus fantasy points in three of the last four games and has been one of the biggest parts of this team getting back into the playoff race.

Brionna Jones (Connecticut Sun) - @ ATL - DK: $8,000; FD: $6,600

Sure, let's load up on the sun frontcourt today. Jones does so much that even when she scored just one point a few games back, she had 16.0 DraftKings points because of all the other stuff she added. She had eight points on 4-for-8 shooting with six rebounds, one block and three steals the last time she faced the Dream, and she had 12 points and six boards in her other game against Atlanta. Jones has a really nice fantasy floor.

WNBA DFS Picks: Guard

Victoria Vivians (Indiana Fever) - vs MIN - DK: $7,800; FD: $5,600

Vivians has had some up-and-down performances lately, but she's coming off of her best game in awhile, scoring 17 points on 8-for-19 shooting with two rebounds, four assists and three steals. She had 15 points, two rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals the last time she faced the Lynx. I don't really love the guards on this slate, so I think saving some money and grabbing an upside play in the midrange prices like Vivians is a good strategy.

Tiffany Hayes (Atlanta Dream) - vs CON - DK: $7,500; FD: $6,300

With Rhyne Howard set to miss this game with a shoulder injury, I'm expecting a lot of Tiffany Hayes, who should serve as the team's first option. Hayes has played four games this season, averaging 13.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Her best game saw her score 21 points. Efficiency has been a concern as she's shot under 40 percent the last two games, but that shouldn't matter too much on Friday, as Howard's absence should mean Hayes gets around 15 field goal attempts. Unless she just absolutely can't hit anything, even a 35% shooting night on 15 attempts should lead to Hayes returning some solid value at this price.

Tiffany Mitchell (Indiana Fever) - vs MIN - DK: $4,600; FD: $3,800

Mitchell has essentially been unplayable this season in fantasy, as she's been buried deep in the Fever rotation. But for the first time since May, Mitchell has now played 20-plus minutes in back-to-back games. Included in that is a game where she took 12 shots. If you're looking for a really cheap punt play, Mitchell might be the only one in this range who has this kind of upside, even if her floor remains just as low as ever.

WNBA Betting Picks for 7/15/2022

Looking to make some WNBA bets? Let's look at some options for you.

Yesterday's Results: 1-1

Minnesota Lynx Spread (-3.5)

The Lynx are only 3.5-point favorites against Indiana? Okay...I'll take some free money, I guess. The Fever have lost by four or more points in seven consecutive games. The Lynx are coming off of a loss, but are 6-4 over their last 10 games. These are two teams in very different positions and I think the Lynx should win this one comfortably. I get where the oddsmakers have some Lynx skepticism, but this isn't the game for it.

Connecticut Sun Spread (-8)

Atlanta has lost two in a row and is 3-7 over the last 10 games, while the Sun have the league's fourth-best record. With Rhyne Howard out, I just don't see the talent on this Dream team that's needed to keep up with Connecticut. The Sun have the better frontcourt by a good bit and enough talent in the backcourt to get things done.
