WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks, Betting Picks (6/8/22): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel, Best Bets

WNBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball stock

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks and betting picks for 6/8/22. Expert WNBA DFS advice for DraftKings and FanDuel and today's best bets.

We've got a two-game slate of games in the WNBA on Wednesday, with the Fever taking on the Sun, followed by the Sky facing the Mystics. Make sure you get your DFS lineups and bets in, because there are no games on Thursday night.

I'll be providing daily fantasy lineup picks for the WNBA this season here at RotoBaller. In addition, I'll be sprinkling in some basic betting picks. Not going to get complicated since there's limited space in this piece, but I'll throw you a bet or two each day that I like and, because I think this is important, that I'll be making myself.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/8/22. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The slate locks on 6/8/2022 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Lineup Picks: Forwards

Alyssa Thomas (Connecticut Sun) - vs IND - DK: $11,000, FD: $8,500

I really don't like this slate at forward from a value perspective, so I'm going heavy on the top forwards and looking for value at guard.

Indiana has not been good defensively. And a lot of that has been interior defense, which is why I'm high on Connecticut bigs today. Thomas is averaging 14.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game. Earlier this year against Indiana, she posted 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists, then followed that up with 18 points, six rebounds and six assists. She shot over 50% in both of those games. Indiana is going to have a lot of trouble slowing her down.

Candace Parker (Chicago Sky) - @ WAS - DK: $10,500, FD: $6,000

Last time out against the Mystics, Parker had 12 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and two steals. Her shot volume is lower than you might like, but she makes up for that by being involved in everything else for the Sky. She's pulled down 11 or more rebounds in three of the last four games and has 11 total assists over her last two contests. The blocks haven't been there in about a week, but before that, she had a pair of three-block games in a row.

Jonquel Jones (Connecticut Sun) - vs IND - DK: $10,200, FD: $5,700

Like her teammate, Jones has had some good showings against Indiana. Despite playing just 24 minutes in one game and 25 in the other, she had a 19-point, eight-rebound game, followed by a 13-point, nine-rebound game.

Overall, Jones hasn't been quite as dominant as expected, but she seems to have finally found her footing, scoring 20-plus points in each of the last three games. She's coming off of a game in which she had 25 points, eight rebounds, six assists, one block and three steals in a road win over the Storm.

WNBA DFS Lineup Picks: Guards

Victoria Vivians (Indiana Fever) - @ CON - DK: $7,600, FD: $7,800

On such a small slate, it's hard to fade a whole team completely. So despite the bad matchup here for Indiana, I'll sprinkle in some Vivians for the volume. She's taken double-digit shot attempts in eight consecutive games and while she's coming off of her worst game in awhile (five points on 2-for-12 shooting with one rebound, one assist and two steals), she's averaging 15 points per game against the Sun this season. She didn't do much in terms of rebounds and assists in either of those games, but she's usually good for something close to five rebounds and four assists most nights.

Dijonai Carrington (Connecticut Sun) - vs IND - DK: $5,500, FD: $6,000

The Sun have been trying to figure out the backcourt since the Jasmine Thomas injury. It looks like one thing that might mean is less Natisha Hiedeman and more of Carrington, based on how Carrington saw her most minutes since May in the team's last game. She scored 12 points on 5-for-5 shooting, providing some needed threes while also adding three rebounds and a steal. With Indiana allowing the most points per game in the W, there's some potential value here.

Rui Machida (Washington Mystics) - vs CHI  - DK: $4,800, FD: $4,400

This might end up being a terrible play, but in Washington's last game—which was also against the Sky—we saw an uptick in Machida's minutes, as she played 21 of them. She continued to show a low floor in the scoring department with five points on 2-for-4 shooting, but she had a solid day by adding nine assists and two rebounds. This is a big risk here, but this is a slate that I really dislike, so I'm fine making this kind of a big swing when there isn't an obvious value play\

WNBA Betting Picks for 6/8/2022

Looking to make some WNBA bets? Let's look at some options for you.

Yesterday's Results: 1-1

Indiana Fever Spread (+16)

I mean...Indiana is going to lose this game and there's a good chance they lose spectacularly, but a 16-point spread in a basketball game is a lot. These teams have already played twice, with a nine-point Sun win and a 22-point Sun win, but the Fever were without NaLyssa Smith in both of those. I could go either way on this spread, but I lean toward 16 being too high. I'd take the Fever as long as the spread stays above 14.

Mystics ML (if Elena Delle Donne plays)

The Mystics should have Elena Delle Donne (rest) back for this one. That's especially important because of how bad her replacement, Myishia Hines-Allen, has been playing:

Chicago beat the Mystics by nine on Sunday, but Delle Donne plus being at home should be enough to swap things around.
