WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks, Betting Picks (6/27/22): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel, Best Bets

WNBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball stock

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks and betting picks for 6/27/22. Expert WNBA DFS advice for DraftKings and FanDuel and today's best bets.

It's Monday, which means there are no WNBA games. *checks internet* Wait, I'm being told that we actually do have Monday basketball tonight, with the Fever taking on the Mercury plus the Aces facing the Sparks.

I'll be providing daily fantasy lineup picks for the WNBA this season here at RotoBaller. In addition, I'll be sprinkling in some basic betting picks. Not going to get complicated since there's limited space in this piece, but I'll throw you a bet or two each day that I like and because I think this is important, that I'll be making myself.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/27/22. These lineup picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The slate locks on 6/27/2022 at 10:00 p.m. ET. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Lineup Picks: Forwards

Nneka Ogwumike (Los Angeles Sparks) - vs LV - DK: $10,000, FD: $8,000

The long Sparks season continues. Nneka Ogwumike has been the bright spot—which I'm sure is a sentence I've written on this website a whole bunch of times. She's coming off of a 24-point outing against the Storm, going 12-for-18 from the floor and adding four rebounds, three assists and two steals. In her last meeting with the Aces, she had 16 points and nine rebounds, plus had a pair of steals. On the steal front, she had at least two of them in six consecutive games.

NaLyssa Smith (Indiana Fever) - @ PHO - DK: $9,300, FD: $6,600

Phoenix is interesting now. With Charles out, Brianna Turner moves down to the five. If that means she guards Queen Egbo for this one, then that really opens the floor up for Smith. Will Sophie Cunningham be asked to defend her? Or will Turner stay on her and then there will be some other mismatch created that helps Egbo? Whatever this winds up looking like, one Fever big is in for a huge game, so I'll roster Smith in some lineups and Egbo in others. Smith has struggled some lately, with two of her last three games ending with just four points, including a meeting with the Mercury. But she also pulled down 14 rebounds in that Phoenix game. If she can connect on a few more shots, there's a lot of upside.

Brianna Turner (Phoenix Mercury) - vs IND - DK: $7,900, FD: $5,700

Tina Charles left the Mercury on Saturday. That didn't really impact Turner too much, as she still played 30-plus minutes and took just two shots. But theoretically, there are more shots available for Turner, even if she's been extremely low volume this season. If there's a game for Turner to actually put more than a couple of points on the board, it's got to be this one against the W's worst scoring defense, right? Plus without Charles, there will be more chances for rebounds to come Turner's way.

WNBA DFS Lineup Picks: Guards

Kelsey Plum (Las Vegas Aces) - @ LA - DK: $10,400, FD: $8,200

Looking for scoring? Plum has four games in a row with 20 or more points, and the last time she didn't hit that mark was against LA, when she scored 17 points and added three rebounds and eight assists. She's had 17 in both of her meetings with the Sparks this season but definitely has the ceiling to score more than that against the team that allows the second-most points per game in the WNBA and that allows team's to shoot a league-high 38% from three. Plum's efficiency from three is all over the place, but she's taken seven or more threes in eight consecutive contests.

Brittney Sykes (Los Angeles Sparks) - vs LV - DK: $7,500, FD: $6,800

We'll need to monitor the Sparks injury report, but the team's last game on Saturday saw Jordin Canada and Chennedy Carter both out with a non-COVID illness. Carter is off the report, but Canada is still listed as questionable. If Canada remains out, Sykes would be in line for another high-usage game. She's taken 15 field goals in each of the last two games and had eight assists last game, as she had to take on more playmaking duties without Canada available. She did struggle immensely the last time she played the Aces though, going just 1-for-5 with three points, no rebounds and three assists, so there's plenty of matchup-based downside to factor in here.

Sophie Cunningham (Phoenix Mercury) - vs IND - DK: $4,800, FD: $4,600

Because of the Charles situation, Cunningham was moved into the starting lineup for Phoenix. She responded with one of her best games of the season, scoring 14 points on 5-for-9 shooting and adding in six rebounds and one assist. The Mercury are an incredibly shallow team with Charles gone, so it's hard to imagine Cunningham not playing 25-ish minutes on Monday. Considering the Fever defense has been the W's worst this season, there's immense value here with Cunningham.

WNBA Betting Picks for 6/27/2022

Looking to make some WNBA bets? Let's look at some options for you.

Yesterday's Results: 2-0

Indiana Fever Spread (+7)

Yes, the Mercury beat the Wings in their first game without Tina Charles. But I think there was a lot of adrenaline involved in that. Now that it's been a couple of days, we can look at the Mercury roster and see that the team is relying heavily on Shey Peddy and Sophie Cunningham right now. Diana Taurasi is what she once was. The Fever have struggled this year and already lost to the Mercury once, but things have changed since then. Indiana should be able to keep this close.

Las Vegas Spread (-7)

The Aces have hit a rough patch, losing two in a row and beating Minnesota by just one in the game before that. What better way to get back on the right path than a meeting with the Sparks. Vegas won the last meeting of these teams by 17 and the other by 28.
