WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (9/6/20): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for 9/6/20. Expert WNBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for DraftKings and FanDuel.

We're in the home stretch now. Next Sunday is the last day of the WNBA regular season, so we've got a week left to watch the four non-playoff teams and to do some regular season DFS. What'll happen in this final week? Will the Dallas Wings make the playoffs? Will New York get another win? Who'll get the one-seed between Seattle and Vegas? Will we finally collectively acknowledge that A'ja Wilson should be the MVP?

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 9/6/20. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA - DFS Guards

Arike Ogunbowale (G, Dallas Wings) – vs Washington Mystics (DK: $9,800, FD: $7,500)

Some Arike Ogunbowale stats. On the season, she averages a true shooting percentage of 51.5 and 1.09 points per possession. But when playing beside Marina Mabrey, those numbers become a 59.3 true shooting percentage and 1.19 points per possession. This backcourt is working, and it'd helped unlock the best version of Ogunbowale. Now, she faces a struggling Mystics defense that she already had 24 points against last month. Ogunbowale took 12 free throws in that game, plus added nine assists.

Leilani Mitchell (G, Washington Mystics) – vs Dallas Wings (DK: $7,300, FD: $5,800)

This matchup is expected to be heavy on the offense, so I want a guard on the other side of it too. And who better than Leilani Mitchell, who is coming off a 20-point, 12-assist game against the Sky. Mitchell's been dishing out a lot of assists lately and has done a good job rebounding for her position. She's also been stepping up in terms of scoring load, with 10 or more shot attempts in three of her last five games. If she can drain her three a little more efficiently like she did against Chicago, she can be a great fantasy contributor.

Odyssey Sims (G, Minnesota Lynx) – vs Seattle Storm (DK: $6,700, FD: $5,200)

Sims is still playing limited minutes behind Rookie of the Year favorite Crystal Dangerfield, but we're starting to see her look more like the Odyssey Sims we thought we might be getting. She's coming off of a 16-point game against the Wings, and she's started to have assist numbers lately that are more in line with expectation. Sims is risky and this matchup with Seattle is risky too, but I like her upside, especially in a game where the team might lean on her veteran presence a little more than they might against a weaker opponent.

WNBA - DFS Forwards

Candace Parker (F, Los Angeles Sparks) – vs Chicago Sky (DK: $11,400 FD: $8,000)

Parker has been on fire. Consecutive 20-point games, including a double-double against Dallas when she had 22 points and 10 rebounds. She's had five or more assists in six of her last seven games and is coming off a three-block effort against Seattle. Parker has burst her way into the MVP conversation and while we've seen a few too many games where her scoring takes a backseat to whoever the hot hand on the team is, her rebounding and passing give her a strong DFS floor even if she only gets nine points.

Natasha Howard (F, Seattle Storm) – vs Minnesota Lynx (DK: $9,000, FD: $7,000)

Remember when Natasha Howard was off to a slow start to the season and we were questioning if the team should make lineup changes because of how backup Ezi Magbegor was playing?

Well...Howard's back. She's scored in double figures in eight consecutive games now, shooting over 70 percent in four of them. She's rebounding the way well, and is on a long streak of getting at least one steal in each game. Minnesota's a tough matchup, but without Sylvia Fowles, it won't be quite as tough for Howard to establish herself in the paint and put up a highly-efficient 12 points. She'll also likely flirt with a double-double.

Ruthy Hebard (F, Chicago Sky) – vs Los Angeles Sparks (DK: $5,800, FD: $5,200)

Today's riskiest play, injuries have led to a shortened Sky rotation, which has allowed the rookie Hebard to burst into it. Over the last two games, though, the minutes have dropped some as has the scoring and rebound numbers, but we're less than a week removed from her 29-minute game against the Fever in which she had 12 points and 11 rebounds. I believe in the upside of Hebard, even if the last two games have shown us her floor.
