WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (8/27/19): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for 8/27/19. Expert WNBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for DraftKings and FanDuel.

It's a busy Tuesday night in the WNBA, with five games across the night. The Sparks visit the Mystics in what should be the best game of the slate, but there's plenty of other interesting meetings, including the high-powered Sky meeting the defense-minded Lynx.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 8/27/19. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

WNBA - DFS Guards

DeWanna Bonner (G, Phoenix Mercury) – @ New York Liberty (DK: 11,300, FD: $8,000)

If you were worried that the return of Diana Taurasi would cut into Bonner's productivity, then I'd like to introduce you to her line against the Sky: 18 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists, and she did that while going 1-for-5 from three. Bonner's got a great matchup on Tuesday against arguably the WNBA's worst defensive team, a team that she just put up 30 and 10 against a few games ago. I just don't really see a path for the Liberty in terms of stopping Bonner.

(By the way, while I'm on the Mercury. Diana Taurasi is really getting a "she's Diana Taurasi" bump and is the second-most expensive player with guard eligibility on DraftKings. She was 2-for-13 in her first game back. No way I'd go with Taurasi.)

Danielle Robinson (G, Minnesota Lynx) – vs Chicago Sky (DK: $7,500, FD: $6,600)

Robinson scored a season-high 23 points on 9-for-13 shooting in her last game, a win against the Las Vegas Aces. She had eight assists. Robinson has now scored in double figures in four of the past six games and has a juicy matchup against the Sky, who've allowed the second-most points per game in the league this year. Robinson had 10 points and 10 rebounds in the last meeting between these teams and also put in 13 points against Chicago in the season opener. With the workload she's been getting lately, Robinson should set for a solid game.

WNBA - DFS Forwards

Tina Charles (F, New York Liberty) – vs Phoenix Mercury (DK: $10,400, FD: $8,300)

No team has allowed more points in the paint over the last five games, and while Charles isn't exclusively a post scorer, she does get a good number of her points down there. Charles has failed to score 20 points for two consecutive games, but before that she'd hit that plateau in six of seven, and the last time she faced Phoenix she had 23 points and 13 rebounds. The return of Amanda Zahui B has cut into Charles' production a little, but I still see tremendous upside for her in Tuesday's meeting.

Teaira McCowan (F, Indiana Fever) – vs Las Vegas Aces (DK: $7,800 FD: $6,100)

Vegas is allowing the fourth-most rebounds over the past five games and the fifth-most points in the paint over that span. McCowan is coming off a game where she scored 22 points and grabbed 19 rebounds. She's scored at least 22 in two of the last three games and is becoming a focal point for Indiana, and she's still a huge discount on DFS sites. There will be games moving forward where McCowan isn't quite as involved as other games, but at her current price point it's almost impossible for me not to suggest playing her.
