WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (8/10/19): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for 8/10/19. Expert WNBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for DraftKings and FanDuel.

A pair of WNBA games for you on Saturday, and the fact that the five highest-priced guards on DraftKings are in one game and four of the five highest-priced forwards are in the other should tell us a lot about the kinds of matchups we're getting. Expect a lot of points between Dallas and Phoenix, while the Fever/Dream game should be a slower affair.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 8/10/19. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

WNBA - DFS Guards

Leilani Mitchell (G, Phoenix Mercury) – vs Dallas Wings (DK: $9,800, FD: $7,300)

Diana Taurasi remains out and Mitchell remains a top DFS option for the Mercury. She's scored in double figures in six straight games and is 9-for-17 from deep over the past two games. In addition, Mitchell has five or more assists in four of her last five. Dallas allows the fourth-highest three-point field goal percentage this season and while they've actually been pretty good in terms of limiting opponent scoring chances, this is still the kind of matchup that's a plus for Mitchell, especially when you take into account injuries in Phoenix and how much Mitchell will have to play.

Allisha Gray (G, Dallas Wings) – @ Phoenix Mercury (DK: $7,200)
Arike Ogunbowale (G, Dallas Wings) - @ Phoenix Mercury (FD: $6,200)

Over the last five games, Phoenix is allowing the second-highest three-point field goal percentage and is tied with Atlanta in giving up the most made threes per game. For this spot, I'm choosing one of the Dallas backcourt players, and I think the smart move is to go with the cheaper on each platform. On DraftKings, Gray's cheaper by a good amount, while on FanDuel, Ogunbowale is $200 less. I think Arike's going to be the most successful tonight, but both players are in good spots against a backcourt that's struggled defensively.

WNBA - DFS Forwards

Elizabeth Williams (F, Atlanta Dream) – @ Indiana Fever (DK: $8,900, FD: $6,300)

When these teams met a few games ago, Williams had 17 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks. When they met earlier in the season, she had 10 points, four rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. Williams has done a pretty good job against this Fever team, and I'm expecting a bounce back game after she took just one shot attempt in her last outing against the Lynx. She's had at least five boards in five straight games and always has a good shot at adding a few blocks to her totals.

Teaira McCowan (F, Indiana Fever) – vs Atlanta Dream (DK: $7,800, FD: $6,100)

McCowan had 10 points and 14 rebounds the last time she faced the Dream. She had 14 points and 15 boards in her first meeting with the Dream. Atlanta has struggled to stop players up front, and they just don't have an easy answer for the size and strength of McCowan. I don't really see a reason to think Saturday's game will be different than the first two meetings. Get the ball to McCowan inside and let her score on one end. Position her near the hope to grab rebounds on the other end.
