WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (7/7/21): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for 7/7/21. Expert WNBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for DraftKings and FanDuel.

The WNBA season is quickly approaching the month-long Olympic break, so only a few more chances to win some DFS money before August.

Three games on Wednesday's slate, as the Wings visit the Lynx in the early game, followed by a pair of late games as the Mercury and Aces play and the Sparks face the Storm.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/7/21. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Lineup Picks

Guard: Skylar Diggins-Smith (Phoenix Mercury) - @ Aces - DK: $9,800, FD: $7,100

This is a nice guard slate with no players priced over $10,000 on DraftKings.

SDS is one of my favorite plays on this slate She's coming off a game against the Lynx where she didn't really fill up the stat sheet, but she's still one of the WNBA's elite guards. She's going to score 15-plus points most games, will make a few threes, and will dish out some assists. Her rebounds have been down lately, but if she can add a few steals to her total, she should be able to finish close to -- or above -- 30 fantasy points.

Guard: Arike Ogunbowale (Dallas Wings) - @ Lynx - DK: $9,400, FD: $7,500

Like Diggins-Smith, Arike's numbers have been down a little over the last couple of games, but she's a player who can explode at any time.

She had some really solid games against the Lynx earlier in the year, shooting over 40 percent in both contests and averaging 18 points per contest in those two games. Dallas has a lot of mouths to feed right now, but Arike is still the engine that drives this team, so she remains my favorite fantasy option on this squad.

Guard: Epiphanny Prince (Seattle Storm) - vs Sparks - DK: $5,700, FD: $5,200

This is one of those "watch the injury report" plays. Jewell Loyd was out last game, which meant Prince played an expanded role, seeing 31 minutes of action and finishing with 18 points, two assists, two rebounds, a block, and three steals.

Prince won't do that if Loyd is back, so don't play her if Loyd returns to the lineup. But if the Storm play it safe with Loyd's ankle again, Prince will get the minutes again, which should lead to production.

Forward: Breanna Stewart (Seattle Storm) - vs Sparks - DK: $11,500, FD: $9,100

After scoring just nine points on July 2nd, Stewie bounced back against the Sparks last game, with 21 points, four rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and a steal against the Sparks.

The rebounds were down, but usually you can expect at least seven boards from Stewart. She has the highest ceiling in the league when it comes to fantasy, and while she's failed to hit the 40 fantasy point mark for two consecutive games, the very fact that that's a complaint is notable and proof of just how good Stewart is.

There are a lot of solid high-priced forward plays on this slate though, if you don't want to play Stewart or if you want to switch things up in some lineups. Napheesa Collier and A'ja Wilson in particular are options.

Forward: Kayla Thornton (Dallas Wings) - @ Lynx - DK: $6,700, FD: $5,000

Thornton played 38 minutes last game against New York and 35 in the game before that. Her expanded role in this Wings frontcourt has been a solid development for this team and for DFS players, who are getting some solid production at a nice value.

She had a pair of 20-plus fantasy point games against the Lynx back in June, and those came with Thornton only playing 23 and 28 minutes. Combine her history of production against this team with her expanded minutes in the last two games and we could see Thornton's best fantasy showing of the 2021 season on Wednesday.

Forward: Ezi Magbegor (Seattle Storm) - vs Sparks - DK: $6,400, FD: $4,700

As I mentioned in my last piece, the Storm moved on from Candice Dupree, something that opened up minutes for Ezi Magbegor off the bench.

And what did she do with that expanded role?

20 points on 7-for-11 shooting with nine rebounds and a block. She committed five fouls, which is an issue, but if she can continue to get minutes -- which she should be able to do now that Dupree is gone -- then she should finish with 20-plus fantasy points.
