WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (7/19/19): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for 7/19/19. Expert WNBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for DraftKings and FanDuel.

We have three games in the WNBA tonight, headlined by a fun Aces/Storm game (that might not be much fun for DFS players, as the team's have both been good defensively lately). But before that, we get another Dream/Sun meeting -- a matchup that's always fun -- and a Mystics/Fever game that might not look great on paper, but has a chance to produce to some good basketball.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/19/19. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts

WNBA - DFS Guards

Kristi Toliver (G, Washington Mystics) – @ Indiana Fever (DK: $8,200, FD: $6,100)

On a night where most of the league's top guards aren't playing and we're seeing Jordin Canada go off as the most expensive guard on FanDuel, there are chances for you to find some value.

Among the higher priced plays tonight, Toliver in particular feels a little low, especially on FanDuel, where she's the eighth-most expensive guard. Toliver has played well lately, including a 15-point, seven-assist outing in Washington's last game. Her current usage in Washington gives her a solid floor, and a matchup with a Fever team that allows the third-most points and most assists per game seems like a prime spot for Toliver to break out.

Renee Montgomery (G, Atlanta Dream) – @ Connecticut Sun (DK: $6,900, FD: $5,000)

Montgomery, who's been in the league since 2009 and averaged 14.6 points per game as a member of the Sun back in 2011, had a throwback performance in Atlanta's last game, scoring 23 points and dishing out six assists against the Chicago Sky. This matchup against Connecticut is far tougher, but Montgomery has already played the Sun three times this year and has a pair of 12-point games against them. Factor in a recent uptick in usage as she's taken 10 or more shots in three of Atlanta's last four games and you get a solid performance from the veteran on Friday.

Natasha Cloud (G, Washington Mystics) – @ Indiana Fever (DK: $6,100, FD: $5,200)

Going back to this game, I'm really interested in Cloud's upside against a Fever team that's just been lost defensively this season. I'm also interested in the fact that Cloud attempted 11 threes against the Aces in her last game, because attempting threes is the exact thing she needs to do Friday against the Fever, who allow opponents to shoot the third-highest three-point field goal percentage in the WNBA. Cloud's going to benefit from that in this one.

WNBA - DFS Forwards

Jonquel Jones (F, Connecticut Sun) – vs Atlanta Dream (DK: $10,500, FD: $8,200)

Jones has done well against Atlanta this year, and while the Dream have been improving their interior defense lately, this is still a good spot for Jones. Atlanta is allowing the second-most rebounds per game over the last five games, and Jones had 11 points and nine rebounds when these teams met on the 10th. Jones also has 11 blocks in her last four games. I don't necessarily love Jones in this matchup, but of the high-priced forwards, she's the one with the best floor while also having a decently high ceiling.

LaToya Sanders (F, Washington Mystics) – @ Indiana Fever (DK: $6,700, FD: $5,700)

In a slate where you essentially have some of the league's best defenses and one of the league's worst, I'm not at all opposed to stacking up against that bad defense. The Fever are allowing the second-most points in the paint over the last five games, which is an area of the floor where Sanders sees almost all of her offensive usage. She's also been rebounding the ball well lately. Sanders didn't really see a drop in anything with Emma Meesseman back either, as it was Tianna Hawkins who saw her playing time fall off, not Sanders.

Natalie Achonwa (F, Indiana Fever) – vs Washington Mystics (DK: $6,200, FD: $5,700)

If you're looking at the low end of the pricing, Achonwa is an intriguing name. Over the last five games, the Mystics have actually allowed more points in the paint than any other team while also allowing the second-most total points. Something's been off about this Washington defense. Meanwhile, Achonwa has re-entered the Fever starting five, and is coming off an 11-point, seven-rebound effort against a good Connecticut front court. She should find things easier against Washington, making Achonwa a sneaky play.
