Week Ten NFL DFS GPP Stacks for FanDuel, DraftKings

Mark Kieffer's NFL DFS stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings tournaments for Week 10 of the 2021 NFL season. These GPP stacks are worth considering for daily fantasy football lineups.

Welcome back to another week of NFL DFS GPP Stacks! This is where I talk about the slate and give three stacks you should consider for your GPP lineups!

I generally make 3-5 lineups, because it is hard to nail every stack. I use a different stack for each GPP lineup and hope one of them pops to the top of the standings! If I win a GPP with one lineup and do not cash in the other six, I will still have a very nice day and win a good chunk of cash!

Before just diving into the picks for this week, some reminders about guidelines I use for stacks:

I want games with high point-scoring totals and close point spreads. The scoring part is obvious (more scoring = more fantasy points) but the game being close makes a bring-back player viable and keeps the team that is up playing with urgency throughout the game.

I generally want to fade a stack combination that is projected to be the most popular in the slate. This means I may choose to stack up that team different from the crowd, or I may do an outright fade. With that said, onto the picks!

Slate Context

This is something I think is important to look at when considering stacks for your lineups. For the main Sunday slate, 11 games are being played. The Falcons vs. Cowboys is the highest total on the slate at 54.5 points, and after that, there are two other games over 50 points. I expect those games to be the most popular.

(1) Dallas Cowboys or Atlanta Falcons

Let's get the obvious plays out of the way first. Dallas has the No. 25 passing defense, allowing 270.5 passing yards per game, while Atlanta has the No. 13 passing defense allowing 237.4 passing yards per game. While I expect Dallas to be more popular, I prefer Atlanta for tournaments if they will be less popular. Dallas has the worst offense, and Atlanta's top targets are now Russell Gage, Cordarrelle Patterson, and Kyle Pitts. Because of how popular this game will be, one will have to get contrarian in other spots for tournaments if they decide to roster Dallas or Atlanta. I will likely fade this game altogether and focus on others. If I played more than five lineups, I would likely have a stack of Atlanta. It would take me 10 lineups to get to Dallas.

(2) Buffalo Bills

Buffalo busted last week and is in a favorable spot this week. The Jets have the No. 29 passing defense in the NFL, allowing 274.9 passing yards per game. Josh Allen's rushing ability always gives him the ceiling that not many other quarterbacks have. Additionally, this stack has several different directions one can go. Allen-Diggs-Beasley would include Buffalo's target leaders on the season. Allen-Beasley-Sanders is a way to save salary and cover yourself in the event Diggs does not have a big game. Allen-Diggs-Singletary is another way to access target plus potential points in the event Buffalo runs in the 4th quarter more than they pass, especially if Zack Moss is inactive (last week Singletary had eight targets).

(3) Tampa Bay Buccaneers

No Chris Godwin, No Antonio Brown, No Rob Gronkowski, no problem?......... Right? Tampa Bay is No. 1 in pass play percentage, passing the ball on 66.91% of the plays. Washington is No. 32 in pass defense, allowing 286.8 passing yards per game. While there is a depleted receiving corps, am I supposed to believe that Tampa Bay is going to change who they are and not be pass-happy, especially when playing against the worst passing defense in the NFL? This game has a 51 point total at the moment. I like including Leonard Fournette in a stack, he averages 4.875 targets per game. I would consider something like Brady-Evans-Fournette or Brady-Fournette-Tyler Johnson if Godwin is out. People will not be on Tampa Bay as much as they should be, and this is a chance to get a high volume passing Tom Brady at a reduced percentage.

Final Thoughts

Dallas and Atlanta are a little too chalky for me, and I definitely would not use them as a stack if I had just one lineup. Both of those offenses have looked shaky at times and I don't fully trust either team right now. Buffalo is in a good bounce-back spot after losing to Jacksonville, and Josh Allen always has slate-breaking upside. Tampa Bay should be the most popular stack of the week in my opinion but are not projected to be. I always like having the opportunity to stack the best passing attack against the worst pass defense when they aren't the most popular stack.

Thanks for reading, and I wish you the best of luck with your Week 10 DFS Stacks!
