FanDuel, DraftKings CFB DFS Picks: Daily Fantasy College Football Advice for 9/14/19 (Late Slate)

Week 3 college football DFS lineups, sleepers and value picks for the late slate on FanDuel and DraftKings on September 14th. Target these NCAA players in CFB daily fantasy tournaments and cash games.

Hopefully you're coming here after a very successful morning slate! It's a fun day of college football and the night gets even better. With that said, it's a much simpler slate with just seven games. There are a few more dynamic QB's to consider and a few value guys worth looking at.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the late slate of games on FanDuel and DraftKings on 9/14/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

Once again, FanDuel and DraftKings are taking a very different approach to college football. I'll be following a DraftKings baseline as it it a lot simpler, but I will try my best to include FD plays as well. FanDuel, DraftKings DFS Quarterbacks

Jalen Hurts, Oklahoma (FD $10,600 - DK $8,500)

Jalen Hurts and this Oklahoma offense have looked nothing short of phenomenal in these first two weeks. Hurts only played two quarters last week, so he wasn’t able to encore that six touchdown performance against Houston in week 1. We should get another four quarters of Hurts tonight and we now know what he can do with these weapons. UCLA has been extremely disappointing yet again, and there defense is brutal (50th most passing yards allowed). It’s hard not to see a scenario where this offense puts up as many touchdowns as their hearts desire. If we don’t get four quarters of Hurts, I think we see more than three touchdowns before he’s pulled. He’s my favorite QB on this later slate and it’s not close.

Bryce Perkins, Virginia (FD $9,600 - DK $7,300)

If you’ve had the time to watch Bryce Perkins and Virginia play this year, you know why he’s in play vs a putrid FSU defense. He’s a true dual threat QB that’s willing to take shots downfield. His completion percentage isn’t the highest, but that’s what this FSU team is best for. Inflating stats. In all seriousness, FSU has been one of the worst defenses in the nation and you should have no reservations picking on them. Perkins is a solid play in all formats and he has some weapons you can pair him with.

Also Consider: Sam Ehlinger (UT), Feleipe Franks (UF), Tom Stewart (RICE)

 

FanDuel, DraftKings DFS Running Backs

Salvon Ahmed, Washington State (FD $9,000 - DK $7,200)

The Clemson running game is lethal, and Travis Etienne has as much upside as anyone on the slate. With that said, Lyn-J Dixon has looked great and they have to give him carries. The price is crazy and Clemson isn't projected to score as much as Washington is. Salvon Ahmed is cheaper and in a perfect spot in this game. Washington is facing a bad defense in Hawaii and favored by 20+ points. This game should be centered around getting the ball to Ahmed and letting him get his work done. He’s fairly priced on both sites and an excellent play in both cash and tourneys.

Keaontay Ingram, Texas (FD $9,100 - DK $5,700)

Keaontay Ingram is a great running back, but he was never able to get anything going against LSU. They have an amazing run defense and you can’t knock any RB for struggling in LSU. Fortunately, Texas is now facing Rice and is a huge favorite. The Longhorns are going to have the lead early here and it should be the Ingram show until the lead gets huge. They have no depth at the position and have actually moved a backup QB to running back for depth. Ingram is too cheap on DraftKings and hard to get away from in any format. Running back is pretty cut and dry for me on DK.

Also Consider: Lyn-J Dixon (CLEM), Trey Sermon (OU), Cam Akers (FSU)

 

DraftKings DFS Wide Receivers

Tee Higgins, Clemson (FD $9,100 - DK $5,600)

I'm not sure if DraftKings made a mistake or they just REALLY love overreacting to one game, but Tee Higgins is now $2k cheaper than Justyn Ross after having a better week one and slightly worse week two. This Syracuse defense just gave up 70 points to Maryland, so it's only a guess that Clemson will do damage here, but it seems like a pretty safe guess. Tee Higgins is 1a or 1b and there's no way he should be that cheap. Lawrence will throw for 300 yards and I would be very surprised to see less than 100 yards out of Tee Higgins.

Aaron Fuller, Washington (FD $8,500 - DK $4,900)

Once again, DraftKings has priced one of the best receivers in the nation at $4,900 after he struggled for just one week against a tough defense. The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors are easily one of the worst pass defenses in the nation and this Washington offense is one I really like getting exposure to. With so much exposure to Ahmed, Fuller is cheap enough to not worry about correlation. Both of these above guys are correctly priced on FD, and you'll be forced to find some value over there. That's when I go for the Rice passing attack, who should put up some numbers in the second half vs Texas.

Devin Duvernay, Texas (FD $9,700 - DK $6,900)

With Collin Johnson questionable for this game and there not being any reason to force him in, Devin Duvernay and Brennan Eagles should get a lot of looks. Duvernay looks like a target hog, pulling in 23 balls over the last two games. His price has risen, but rightfully so. With Johnson expected to not be a factor, he could catch even more passes against a subpar Rice defense. Let's hope he's overlooked and we see less than 25% ownership. There is a lot of info to digest in college football, so please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
