Last season saw Watford have four Managers in 37 days and yet promotion from the Championship was still achieved. It is not necessarily then too much of a surprise to see that they will be starting the new season with another new Manager, this time Quique Flores who won the Europa League with Athletico Madrid.
He is, however likely to find the challenge of keeping Watford in the EPL a much more difficult proposition.

Nevertheless he has hit the ground running and has made 10 new signings so far, including attacker Steven Berghuis from AZ Alkmaar, former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Etienne Capoue and another experienced midfielder in Valon Behrami from Hamburg.
It remains to be seen however if all these additions can be brought together into an effective unit. Quite often new additions can disrupt an existing dressing room that believes it has earned the chance to prove themselves worthy of a place in the Barclays Premier League. We fear a similar outcome this time around.
Watford built their success on attacking flair and Troy Deeney was the leading contributor with 21 goals. Look for Deeney to continue to score goals, and potentially leave the club either in the January transfer window or at the end of this season. Charlie Austin & Danny Ings have already shown that Championship success can be replicated in the EPL and Deeney is expected to follow in their footsteps.
As for the team as a whole they will find the step up to Premier League level too much and we confidently expect the club to return to the Championship at the end of the season.
Prediction: Will be fun to watch, but will finish bottom of the league.
Players to Watch: Troy Deeney (Attacker).
