UCL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel (11/24/20) - UEFA Champions League Soccer (Main)

RotoBaller soccer expert Vince Dray breaks down the UCL DFS slate for FanDuel on 11/24/20.

Hello, RotoBallers! I'm happy to be back with you for some mid-week soccer. The busy European soccer schedule stays busy this week with Matchday 4 of UCL group stage play. This breakdown will focus on the main UCL slate on FanDuel for Tuesday. Keep reading this breakdown for my DFS soccer picks on RotoBaller and see how to have success on Tuesday's slate.

The large majority of my DFS content will be EPL or UCL-related, however, there is always more soccer DFS to cover. If you want to chop it up with myself and other RotoBaller writers about non-EPL/UCL leagues or other sports, consider becoming a premium member and joining our ever-growing community of DFS and fantasy sports enthusiasts! We have had some great conversations in the Premium Slack chat about the past few UCL slates.

You can also get access to my brain for questions and edits to lineups for Tuesday. In this article, I will be providing you with my UEFA Champions League daily fantasy soccer lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/24/20 for the slate that locks at 3:00 pm ET. Be sure to also check out our other DFS lineup picks for other active sports. You can always find me on Twitter @vdray5 if you have any questions. Good luck, RotoBallers!

UCL DFS Lineup Picks - Overview

Dortmund (-400) vs Club Brugge, o/u 3.5

Dynamo Kyiv vs Barcelona (-150), o/u 3.0

Juventus (-950) vs Ferencvaros, o/u 3.5

Lazio (-150) vs Zenit, o/u 2.5

Manchester United (-425) vs Istanbul Basaksehir, o/u 3.0

PSG (-180) vs Leipzig, o/u 3.5

FanDuel DFS Forwards / Midfielders

Erling Haaland ($23) is right at the top of my player pool on Tuesday. Dortmund are big favorites at home where they're scoring an average of 3.0 goals per game in the Bundesliga this season. Dortmund just rolled Brugge 3-0 on the road three weeks ago. Haaland has -200 anytime scoring odds, and obviously, he comes with massive upside as well. Haaland can easily be paired with a secondary Dortmund attacker like Jadon Sancho ($19) or Gio Reyna ($11) if you're looking to save some money.

I don't care that Cristiano Ronaldo ($21) has not scored in the UCL this year, this price is criminally cheap. Juventus are the biggest favorites on the slate at home against a Ferencvaros team they just beat handily 4-1 on the road three weeks ago. Ronaldo is -275 to score on Tuesday, which are insane odds. This will likely be as cheap as we'll find Ronaldo for the rest of the season. Ferencvaros are allowing 3.7 goals per game in UCL play this year, so adding in other Juventus attackers is a smart decision. Alvaro Morato ($20) immediately jumps out as another top-tier play. Weston McKennie ($6) might earn a start too and would be one of the best value pieces on the slate at that price.

Manchester United got beat by Istanbul Basaksehir three weeks ago, but I don't think that will happen again this time in Manchester. I'm mostly only interested in Bruno Fernandes ($19). He had a dud game last game against Istanbul, and I can probably count on one hand the number of poor games he's had since joining Manchester United. This is a prime position for him to bounce back at home.

Ciro Immobile ($17) is coming into this game in great form. He has a goal in each of the last four matches he has played to go along with two assists. His matchup is good, but not great, on Tuesday. Regardless, it's hard to find a scorer like this who is in form for this cheap. He is the most likely scorer in this game at -110, and he likely won't be very high owned on this slate.

Aleksandr Erokhin ($7) is an elite value play. He is one of the most mispriced players on this slate. Erokhin has seven goals and two assists in all competitions this season, but for whatever reason, he is still one of the cheapest players on this slate. An away matchup with Lazio is neither good nor bad, but for only $7, you won't find any other players with this kind of scoring upside.

FanDuel DFS Defenders

Juan Cuadrado ($14) is one of my top defenders on this slate. He's hardly a defender even though he's classified as one. He has two assists in three UCL games this season and several chances created as well. As I mentioned above, this is a prime matchup for Juventus attackers fantasy-wise, and that applies to Cuadrado as well. His floor is strong too with peripherals and a likely clean sheet bonus.

Alexandru Epureanu ($11) is a strong mid-tier option. Manchester United don't normally force a lot of defensive action from opposing defenders, but Epureanu had nine clearances along with other defensive stats on his way to a 14.3 fantasy point game last time against United. That performance is repeatable on Tuesday.

Both minimum price defenders are firmly in my player pool on Tuesday. Oscar Mingueza ($5) might get a start Tuesday after Gerard Pique ($11) has been ruled out with a knee injury. The B team centerback hardly needs any defensive stats to be worth the $5 price tag. The same goes for Matthijs de Ligt ($5). He played a full 90 minutes over the weekend in his first game of the year, and should continue starting as Juventus deals with some injuries to their defense. Like Mingueza, he needs only a few defensive stats to be worth playing. He is also in line for a clean sheet bonus on this slate.

Both Adnan Kovacevic ($9) and Gergo Lovrencsics ($9) are in my player pool as well. They're an affordable way to get some sure defensive stats. Their whole backline will be under pressure for the entire game against Juventus which will give them plenty of opportunities to collect stats.

FanDuel DFS Goalkeepers

Wojciech Szczesny ($14) looks like a great option for both bonuses on Tuesday. His Juventus side has only allowed six goals in Serie A this year, and only one of those have been conceded in their four games at home. Juventus are the slate's largest favorite with a win bonus extremely likely too. If you have the money, Szczesny is a great safe way to 20ish points.

Roman Burki ($13) and David de Gea ($12) are both strong options on Tuesday. They're both favored at home playing weaker teams. They each have decent floors with some save points and a win bonus likely and can score well into the 20s with a clean sheet.

None of the other GKs are that intriguing aside from Georgi Bushchan ($5) for minimum price. Messi is out for Barcelona on Tuesday, so he will be taking on a Barcelona attack that is not full strength. Bushchan has a strong floor as he should make plenty of save points. He also has massive upside if Dynamo Kyiv can pull off an upset and keep a clean sheet here. For the record, Dyanmo Kyiv is only allowing 0.7 goals per game in the Ukrainian Premier League this year. Obviously, Barcelona is on another planet, but the floor and ceiling are there for cheap.

Thanks for reading my EPL DFS lineup picks breakdown on RotoBaller and good luck!
