BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues
ANALYSIS: Tyler Lyons pitched well today against the Mets, filling in for an injured Joe Kelly. In 6 IP, he racked up 7 K with only 2 ER, but also had 4 BB. Lyons was pitching well in the minors before getting called up, and St. Louis always finds a way of producing high-quality arms. If you are looking for some pitching depth off the waiver wire, Lyons is a decent guy to take a chance on given his high amount of Ks, and that he plays on a great Cardinals team that can get wins. Just remember that Joe Kelly should get his rotation spot back within a couple weeks, at which point Lyons would probably lose a spot in the rotation unless someone else on the team was injured/ineffective.
