BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: In only three starts this season, Matz has flashed the potential that has tantalized Met fans for years but has so far fallen short. After an up-and-down spring, Matz had a rocky start in a loss to the Cardinals, going only four innings while giving up three runs including two home runs. He bounced back with a stellar start against the Nationals, giving up only an unearned in five innings while striking out eight. His third start (and first win) against the Brewers was emblematic of his season thus far, as he pitched fairly well, going five 1/3 innings while allowing four runs (three earned), three hits, two walks, but two homers.
So far, Matz has pitched to a 3.77 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP in 14 1/3 innings, a solid stat line. While his five walks per nine innings leaves something to be desired, he's a very talented pitcher in a Mets rotation that has been nothing short of excellent. He's well-worth an add in deep leagues to see if he can continue taking steps toward being mixed league worthy.
