BALLER MOVE: Add in AL-Only / 12-14 Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 3% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: So far in the 16 games that Preston Tucker has played in, he is slashing .306/.393/.531 to go along with 2 HR, 8 R and 8 RBI. He is doing all this while hitting a formidable .224 ISO as well as having a BB% of 10.7%. Tucker has quite the minor league track record that supports his good start:
2013 (High-A / Double-A): .297/.368/.505 25 HR, 97 R and 103 RBI
2014 (Double-A/Triple-A): .282/.352/.481 24 HR, 79 R and 94 RBI
2015 (Triple-A): (25 GP) .320/.378/.650 10 HR, 19 R and 32 RBI
Throughout the minors he showed several trends. Power, high OBP and huge slugging%. The Houston Astros have had no problem sticking him into the middle of their lineup as Tucker has been regularly batting 5th and 6th and the last three games has batted 3rd. This would be key since he would have the chance to bat behind both George Springer and Jose Altuve which should provide plenty of RBI potential.
His high BB% allows him to consistently get on base which should also lead to a lot of runs scored batting in front of Gattis, Valbuena and Chris Carter. His playing time seems to be secure as the main guys to lose time are the combo of Colby Rasmus and Jake Marisnick. Together they are forming a CF platoon allowing Tucker to play almost everyday.
