According to Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette, Colorado Avalanche left wing Valeri Nichushkin (lower body) departed Tuesday's game early and did not return. Before suffering the injury, Nichushkin tallied three shots on goal with a +1 rating while playing on the top line alongside Nathan MacKinnon and Artturi Lehkonen. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the 29-year-old's status heading into their next matchup on Thursday against the Buffalo Sabres. While sidelined, Mikko Rantanen will likely return to the top unit. The superstar forward is currently riding an 11-game point streak.
