Edmonton Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner blanked the Los Angeles Kings on Monday evening. Skinner stopped all 30 shots he faced. This was only the fifth time this season Skinner stopped at least 30 shots in a single contest. This was a nice bounce back for Skinner as he allowed five goals in his previous start against the Pittsburgh Penguins last Thursday evening. However, before this poor outing, Skinner was riding a three-game win streak and held a .963% SV and 1.03 GAA over that stretch. Overall, across 29 contests this season, the 25-year-old has posted a 17-9-3 with a 2.68 GAA and a .902% SV. Skinner will look to stay hot in his next outing Wednesday evening against the Minnesota Wild.--Andy Smith
