Dallas Stars center Roope Hintz (upper body) will sit out Thursday's game against Montreal. He suffered an upper-body injury in Tuesday's clash against Toronto. Hintz has not enjoyed the 2024-25 season, as he has been limited to 27 points (19 goals, eight assists) in 42 games. Wyatt Johnston will take on first-line center duties on Thursday. Following a six-game point streak, Johnston has gone cold lately, adding to his points tally only twice in the past five games. However, the 21-year-old has had a solid campaign overall, recording 31 points (10 goals, 21 assists) in 43 outings. Justin Hryckowian will fill the open spot in the lineup. Hryckowian has been a point-per-game player in the AHL but hasn't yet opened his scoring account among the big boys. He will make his third NHL appearance on Thursday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
