5 years agoOn Thursday, the Tampa Bay Rays placed second baseman Brandon Lowe (right shin bruise) on the 10-day Injured List, retroactive to July 3. He'll be first eligible to return on Saturday, July 13. Lowe found himself in a bit of a cold streak starting in mid-June, but his season-long numbers are still stellar as he has a slash line of .276/.339/.523 with 16 home runs, 49 RBI and 40 runs across 76 games. Hopefully you have an IR spot for him or you are able to stash him on your bench while he's hurt. He's been sitting against lefties somewhat regularly this year and his 33.9% strikeout rate is certainly troubling, so it's not the end of the world if you need to drop him in a 10-team league.
