13 hours agoCarolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard finished the Week 4 loss to the Bengals by totaling 104 yards and a touchdown off 18 carries. He added four grabs for 17 yards. The 25-year-old didn't do much in the Panthers' first two games. However, with Andy Dalton now under center, Hubbard has thrived. With his added level of involvement, he's at least a flex option in Week 5 versus the Chicago Bears.Source: ESPN
13 hours agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (groin) finished Sunday's loss to the Bengals by amassing a team-high seven catches for 83 yards. He also scored, finding the end zone off a 21-yard pass from Andy Dalton in the third quarter. The wideout struggled during the first two weeks of the 2024-25 campaign. However, he has thrived since Dalton took over for Bryce Young. With at least seven catches and a touchdown in each of Johnson's last two games, he should be starting in all fantasy lineups when the Panthers meet the Bears in Week 5, assuming Dalton remains under center.Source: ESPN
13 hours agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Andy Dalton finished Sunday's loss to the Bengals by throwing for 220 yards, two touchdowns, and one pick off 25-for-40 passing. He added three carries for nine yards. The veteran signal-called has played well since taking over for Bryce Young. The offense has also operated more efficiently. While things could change regarding the Panthers' quarterback plans, Dalton has earned a spot in multi-quarterback formats for the Week 5 clash with the Chicago Bears, assuming he remains under center.Source: ESPN
13 hours agoAccording to Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, wide receiver Rashee Rice's knee injury "is not good." He revealed this during a halftime interview of Sunday's matchup with the Chargers, although he declined to provide specifics. Of course, fantasy managers are expecting the worst, hoping that Rice won't miss a significant amount of games. He'll likely undergo further testing soon, including an MRI. But with Rice likely out of the mix moving ahead, Skyy Moore, Xavier Worthy, and Travis Kelce should see added attention from Patrick Mahomes.Source: Tracy Wolfson
13 hours agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs earned eight targets in the Packers' narrow 31-29 loss to the division-rival Minnesota Vikings in Week 4. Despite Doubs' targeted involvement from returning starting quarterback Jordan Love, Doubs could only bring in four of those eight targets for 39 receiving yards. The Packers threw the ball a whopping 54 times and Doubs was on the field for 65-of-76 snaps per PFF's Nathan Jahnke, but Doubs could not find the end zone or provide some relief for fantasy managers that started him. The injury to Christian Watson (ankle) could condense some targets for the Packers if Watson misses time, but with the Packers heading west to face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5, Doubs is a middle-of-the-road flex option.Source: ESPN
13 hours agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (ribs) returned to Sunday's meeting with the Patriots. The veteran didn't play in Week 3 against the Rams because of a hamstring injury, so the team is certainly happy to see him back on the field. Of course, with Kittle back in the mix, Eric Saubert's level of involvement will decrease significantly.Source: Matt Maiocco
13 hours agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft was plenty involved in the Packers' comeback bid that ultimately fell short as the Packers lost 31-29 in Week 4. Kraft's day was highlighted by nine targets, the second-most on the team next to Dontayvion Wicks. On the afternoon, Kraft hauled in six catches on those nine targets for 53 yards. Starting quarterback Jordan Love returned in Week 4 and found Kraft on a 13-yard strike in the fourth quarter, then found Kraft once again for the two-point conversion on the next play. Kraft's outing in Week 4 was very encouraging and coupled with Love's return, has his stock coming up in fantasy. The Green Bay Packers will meet the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5, where Kraft should be considered a a high-end streaming option at a thin tight-end position for fantasy.Source: ESPN
13 hours agoSan Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's meeting with the Patriots. The 27-year-old has had an excellent game so far, totaling seven tackles. He also had an interception that he ran back for a touchdown. While the Niners have a comfortable lead at the moment, losing Warner wouldn't be an ideal scenario for a team that's struggled this season. In addition, Jordan Elliott (knee) was ruled out for the remainder of the contest.Source: Nick Wagoner
14 hours agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (ribs) is questionable to return to Sunday's matchup with the Patriots. The 30-year-old wasn't available for the Week 3 loss to the Rams because of a hamstring injury and wasn't a lock to suit up in Week 4. However, with his latest ailment, the team may play it safe by keeping him out for the remainder of the contest. If that happens, Kittle will finish with 38 yards and a touchdown off three catches, with his potential absence opening the door for more targets for Deebo Samuel Sr. Brandon Aiyuk, Jauan Jennings, and backup tight end Eric Saubert.Source: Nick Wagoner
14 hours agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love was active for the first time since Week 1 and got the start for the Packers as they fell short in their comeback bid against the Minnesota Vikings 31-29. Love was throwing the ball for most of the afternoon as he was 32-of-54 for 389 yards, with four touchdowns and three interceptions. Love also added six rushing yards as well as he was plenty busy in Week 4. After connecting with Jayden Reed for the Packers' first score to end the first half, Love threw three touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to get the team to within two points. Love shook off some early rust in the first half to post an excellent fantasy day despite the three interceptions. The Packers head to Los Angeles with a good matchup against the Rams, where Love should be considered a fantasy QB1 in Week 5.Source: ESPN
14 hours agoNew England Patriots safety Kyle Dugger (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's meeting with the 49ers. He suffered an ankle injury and was carted to the locker room, which is never a good sign. But the Patriots are hoping for the best, considering Dugger is one of the team's top defenders, with the 28-year-old entering Week 4 by totaling 18 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble. He was replaced in the contest by Jaylinn Hawkins. Offensive tackle Caedan Wallace (ankle) is also questionable to return.Source: Mike Reiss
14 hours agoMinnesota Vikings kicker Will Reichard continues to drill every kick he attempts as he converted all five opportunities in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers. The rookie kicker nailed four extra points and tacked on a 33-yard field goal in the fourth quarter. Reichard's perfection on the season continues, as he is now up to 14-for-14 on extra points and 6-for-6 on field goals. Until (and unless) he starts becoming inconsistent, he should continue to be a viable streaming option for kickers in fantasy. Reichard and the Vikings will travel to London in Week 5 to take on the New York Jets and may be a viable starting option for next week.Source: ESPN
14 hours agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks was all over the field in the Packers' comeback bid against the Minnesota Vikings, where they fell short 31-29. The former Virginia product Wicks led the Packers in targets with 13 but was relatively inefficient with those opportunities as he hauled in just five receptions for 78 yards. Wicks also found paydirt twice with touchdowns from six yards out and a 17-yard strike from the returning Jordan Love to bring the game within two points in the fourth quarter. The Packers will head west as they will face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5. For fantasy managers, Wicks would be a flex option if the first-quarter injury that knocked Christian Watson (ankle) out of the game causes him to miss time.Source: ESPN
14 hours agoMinnesota Vikings' DST has been one of the more consistent starts this season, and the production continued in Sunday's 31-29 win against the Green Bay Packers. The Vikings did allow 29 points, which would typically be a poor showing for fantasy. However, three interceptions of quarterback Jordan Love and a fumble recovery to go with a sack helped boost their scores. While Minnesota was not as productive at sacking the quarterback as they had been in the first three weeks, they still found a way to help fantasy managers through turnovers. Minnesota's DST now gets an opportunity against the New York Jets in Week 5 in London, who were just held to less than 10 points by the Denver Broncos on Sunday.Source: ESPN
14 hours agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson (hip) didn't return to Sunday's win over the Pittsburgh Steelers after being diagnosed with a hip pointer. The signal-caller "was in good spirits" following the contest, and there's hope he won't miss any time. However, he will be re-evaluated during the week to determine his availability for the Week 5 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. If he can't suit up for that one, Joe Flacco, ending Week 4 by throwing for 168 yards and two touchdowns, will presumably remain under center, giving him value in multi-quarterback formats.Source: Cameron Wolfe
