3 days agoNew York Knicks guard Miles McBride (knee) is active for Tuesday night's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. McBride had been dealing with knee inflammation but will be able to tough it out in the Knicks' in-season tournament opener. McBride has averaged 11.2 PPG this season and will be a decent fantasy option on Tuesday. The 24-year-old will also have fellow guard Cameron Payne active for the first time in four games but don't expect Payne's presence to result in decreased minutes or production for McBride. If DFS managers are looking to prioritize one or the other, McBride is the more reliable option.Source: Stefan Bondy
3 days agoDallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II (shoulder) will make his return to the court ahead of Tuesday's game against the Golden State Warriors. The big man is ready to go after missing the last four games due to a shoulder sprain. The 20-year-old has been a solid contributor and figures to resume his role as primary backup center. He's averaging 9.3 points and 8.2 rebounds across 23 minutes per game this season. The return of Lively should mean that Dwight Powell gets less time in the rotation.Source: Kevin Gray Jr.
3 days agoMilwaukee Bucks guard Andre Jackson Jr. (hip) is available ahead of Tuesday's game against the Toronto Raptors. Both Jackson and Gary Trent Jr. (back) are good to go after being listed as probable heading into this game. Jackson figures to return to the starting five, but has been quiet after the last few games. Trent hasn't been much better but both players should see significant minutes on Tuesday. They could see an uptick in value with Damian Lillard (concussion) unavailable on Tuesday.Source: Gabe Stoltz
3 days agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) is available ahead of Tuesday's game against the Toronto Raptors. As expected, Antetokounmpo will play after being listed as probable heading into this game. The Bucs are going to need him with Damian Lillard (concussion) ruled out for this game. The expectation is that Antetokounmpo will take on a heavy workload on Tuesday. Fantasy managers should get him back in their lineups ahead of tip-off.Source: Gabe Stoltz
3 days agoCleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (leg) is listed as questionable ahead of Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Allen finds himself on the injury report after a few rough performances. He is reportedly dealing with a lower leg strain which could be part of the reason he is struggling right now. It wouldn't be shocking to see the Cavs give Allen the day off to rest and get fully healthy. The Cavs would likely use a committee approach to fill the void if Allen misses time. That means, Isaac Okoro, Georges Niang, and Dean Wade should all see more minutes in the rotation. Niang is probably the best streaming choice between the three if Allen is unable to play.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoCharlotte Hornets guard Tre Mann (back) has been ruled out ahead of Tuesday's game against the Orlando Magic. Mann has been dealing with back soreness for a few days, so the team has decided to sit him and let him rest. The 23-year-old was limited to 15 minutes during Sunday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Before that, Mann was averaging over 25 minutes per game, so there is a significant void to fill in the rotation. Vasilije Micic figures to move into the rotation and Seth Curry will likely see more minutes in the rotation. Between the two, Curry is the much better streaming option for Tuesday's slate.Source: Hornets PR
3 days agoCharlotte Hornets forward Cody Martin (illness) is active for Charlotte's game on Tuesday against the Orlando Magic. Martin popped up on the injury report with an illness but feels good enough to play through it. The 29-year-old has averaged 9.9 PPG and 4.5 RPG to start this season. Expect Martin to continue to produce off the bench for the Hornets. Fantasy managers and DFS players should temper expectations for Martin against a stout Magic defense, though. Still ensure he's in your lineups as he will get 25 minutes of game action but his normal numbers may be muted.Source: Hornets PR
3 days agoBoston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (toe) will suit up for Tuesday's meeting with the Atlanta Hawks. He was listed as questionable because of a toe sprain. But the Celtics will have him on the court to begin the Emirates NBA cup. The 38-year-old isn't as productive as he once was, averaging 8.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.1 steals this season. But he's still a viable fantasy option in deeper setups, even more so in category formats due to his 43.5% shooting from behind the arc.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoBoston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown (hip) is active for Tuesday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks and won't have any restrictions, per Celtics' coach Joe Mazzulla. Brown missed four games due to the hip issue but was able to play on Sunday against Milwaukee and is good to go for Boston's first game of the in-season tournament. Brown is a must-start in all fantasy formats. While there is a chance this game ends in a blowout with the Hawks missing Trae Young, fantasy managers may not need to worry as much about Brown sitting out minutes to end the game. With the NBA Cup tiebreakers focused on margin of victory, Boston pushed leads last season and could be expected to do the same this year. Ensure Brown is in your starting lineups prior to the 7:10 PM ET tip-off.Source: Jay King
3 days agoAccording to Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla, forward Jayson Tatum (ankle) will play in Tuesday's game against the visiting Hawks. The multi-time All-Star was listed as questionable because of a sprained left ankle. However, that won't keep him off the floor on Tuesday night. Even better, he won't have any restrictions. Tatum has averaged 30.5 points, 7.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.6 steals this season. But he could be even more productive versus a Hawks team that has allowed 121 points per game this season, the third-worst mark in the National Basketball Association.Source: Jay King
3 days agoAccording to Philadelphia 76ers head coach Nick Nurse, center Joel Embiid (knee, suspension) will play between 25-30 minutes in Tuesday's game against the New York Knicks. He hasn't played all season, so it will likely take him a few games before he logs his usual allotment of minutes. With that said, Embiid is still a must-start. However, there should still be room for Andre Drummond to remain involved enough for fantasy managers to consider him a starting option in all formats.Source: Kyle Nuebeck
3 days agoDetroit Pistons forward/center Isaiah Stewart (ankle) is cleared to play in Tuesday's matchup against Miami. He was listed as probable, so there wasn't much doubt concerning his availability. Stewart has been getting some extra minutes while Jalen Duren (ankle) was on the shelf the last two games. However, with Duren returning versus the Heat, Stewart's fantasy outlook isn't as favorable.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoDetroit Pistons center Jalen Duren (ankle) will play on Tuesday against the Miami Heat. The 20-year-old tweaked his ankle during the November 6 meeting with the Charlotte Hornets and missed the last two games as a result. But now that Duren is back in the mix, fantasy managers can get him back in their starting lineups versus a Heat team that's struggled against opposing centers this season. With that in mind, his presence will result in fewer minutes for Isaiah Stewart (ankle), who was also cleared to play.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoUtah Jazz center Walker Kessler (hip) won't play in Tuesday's game versus the Phoenix Suns. He's dealing with hip soreness, so he'll miss his first game of the 2024-25 campaign. The 23-year-old has averaged only 9.2 points this season. However, he's logged career-highs in rebounds (10.7) and blocks (2.8). Without him, John Collins and Drew Eubanks should split time in the middle, with both men potentially getting involved enough to surpass fantasy expectations, especially if Phoenix is without Jusuf Nurkic (ankle).Source: Utah Jazz
3 days agoToronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley (elbow) will be sidelined after sustaining a partial tear to his ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow. The team will re-evaluate him in a week and provide an update "as appropriate." It's rough news for the 25-year-old, even more so since he has only appeared in three games this season because of a lengthy stint on the shelf caused by a pelvic contusion. But now that the Raptors will be without him, Davion Mitchell should once again fill the void in the rotation. Mitchell averaged 10.3 points, 6.8 assists, and 1.0 steals in eight starts this season, making him an ideal fantasy option for those in need of a replacement.Source: Marc Spears
