Strickland is coming off a controversial split decision loss to Dricus Du Plessis back in January to lose his middleweight title. Barboza landed a big upkick near the end of the first round that stunned Murphy but he recovered to pick apart Barboza for the rest of the fight. The bout didn't last long, as Harris was knocked out in under two minutes. Williams landed a big right hand that dropped Harris and then followed it up to force the referee to step in. Williams landed a big right hand in the pocket, that dropped Harris, and then a follow-up punch knocked Harris out cold. In 90 seconds of action, Williams landed 12 significant strikes. 4 months agoLuana Pinheiro looked to get back in the win column. However, it didn't go her way as she suffered a second-round submission loss to Angela Hill at UFC Vegas 92 on Saturday. During the fight, Pinheiro struggled to land power shots and effectively execute takedowns. After Hill threw a head kick, Pinheiro ducked and Hill attempted a guillotine choke. Not long after, Hill rolled and secured a mounted guillotine, forcing Pinheiro to tap. In 9:12 of action, Pinheiro landed a takedown and 17 significant strikes. This was Hill's second consecutive victory since losing to Mackenzie Dern by a unanimous decision in May 2023. Hill was aggressive throughout the first round and ended up in a dominant position. In the second round, Hill found an opening and jumped for a guillotine choke. She eventually rolled over into a mounted guillotine, making Pinheiro tap.
