1 day agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving wasn't able to capitalize on the field during Thursday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. The rookie back rushed nine times for 44 yards while adding two receptions for 12 yards in the receiving game. This marked the first time this season that Irving has been outrushed by fellow back Rachaad White. Irving also lost a critical fumble late in the game. It's unclear if this lackluster performance is going to hurt his stock going forward, but he should still remain in a committee with White. That being said, Irving is worth stashing, but won't have a ton of starting appeal for the Week 6 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

1 day agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson (hip) has been dealing with a hip issue which caused him to be a limited participant at practice on Wednesday. The good news, for the injury-riddled Rams, is that he was upgraded to a full participant on Thursday and he's trending in the right direction. With Cooper Kupp (ankle) still not practicing, Robinson is in line for added opportunities alongside Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington. In the Week 4 matchup against the Chicago Bears, Robinson finished with three targets, two receptions, and 37 yards. The matchup against the Green Bay Packers presents a better situation this time around though.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBallerSource: Sarah Barshop

1 day agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White put together his best performance of the season on the ground during Thursday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. White rushed the ball 10 times for 72 yards in what ended up being an overtime loss to Tampa Bay. It's worth noting that 56 of the yards came on one play, so White struggled throughout most of this game. Fellow back Bucky Irving didn't do a whole lot better with a fumble and getting stood up at the goal line. It remains clear that the Bucs are going to use a committee approach at running back. That being said, White will likely only have flex appeal for the Week 6 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

1 day agoAtlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson was more efficient on the ground this week but was unable to turn it into a big fantasy outing as the team grabbed a hard-fought win in overtime over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Robinson finished the game with 61 yards on 12 carries while hauling in all three of his targets for 16 yards. The 5.1 yards per carry is a great stat to see, but with one less reception in this game and no touchdowns, he was unable to bounce back from a lackluster week against the New Orleans Saints. Tyler Allgeier was a bit more involved in this contest as he received nine total touches, but the story of this game was the passing game as Kirk Cousins threw the ball 58 times for 509 yards. Robinson's next chance to find the end zone will be against the Carolina Panthers in Week 6.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

1 day agoIndianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) has not practiced at all yet this week as he's dealing with what everyone is calling a "mild high-ankle sprain." The star back injured his ankle against the Pittsburgh Steelers in their Week 4 matchup, and Ian Rapoport believes that he's "likely to miss some time" moving forward. He noted that Taylor suiting up for their Week 5 game would be a big surprise. His status past this week will be something to monitor, especially since they don't have a bye week for added rest until Week 14. Trey Sermon is the next man up with Tyler Goodson ready to take some snaps in relief.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBallerSource: Ian Rapoport

2 days agoLas Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker will look to build on last week's solid performance when the Raiders square up with the Denver Broncos in Week 5. Tucker could see an expanded role due to the absence of lead wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) being ruled out. The Broncos have an elite defense. Tucker has elite speed, running a 4.37 40-yard dash at his pro day and reaching 21.11 MPH as a ball carrier in 2023. He scored a rushing touchdown in Week 4, so he has an extra wrinkle in his game that can get him more points. He likely won't see the coverage of elite cornerback Patrick Surtain II of the Broncos, so he'll have an easier job than the Raiders' best healthy receiver, Jakobi Meyers. Tucker is still a risky start and is better off left on the bench outside of deep leagues.--John Johnson - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoLas Vegas Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson has a tough matchup against the Denver Broncos in Week 5. Denver has allowed just 7.3 points per game to kickers this season, 1.1 points below the league average and 10th lowest in the league. It doesn't help that the Raiders have had a relatively poor scoring offense, and Carlson has games of 1.0 and 3.0 fantasy points scored this season. He's the 20th-ranked fantasy kicker on the season and shouldn't be on rosters outside of deeper leagues. Fantasy managers can Carlson avoid in Week 5 and look for another potential streaming kicker option off the waiver wire for Week 5.--John Johnson - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoThe Las Vegas Raiders DST has a great matchup and will face the Denver Broncos in Week 5. Denver's offense has struggled this season, putting the Raiders' DST on the streaming radar for this week. Las Vegas has lacked production all season. They have just two takeaways (tied for second last in the NFL) and eight sacks (tied for fourth last) through four games. The Raiders DST has allowed 316, 383, 437, and 241 yards in their four games, allowing an average of 22.75 points per game. They have no defensive or special teams touchdowns. Despite the lack of production, the Raiders are ranked 15th among all fantasy team defenses in the latest RotoBaller rankings and can be used as a streamer with the plus matchup.--John Johnson - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoLas Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers and his squad will face the Denver Broncos in Week 5. Bowers should see a bigger workload this game than he did in Week 4 when he was targeted just three times, catching two passes for 19 yards and rushing one time for 12 yards. With WR Jakobi Meyers likely locked down by elite Denver CB Patrick Surtain II and Davante Adams (hamstring) ruled out, QB Gardner Minshew II would be wise to look Bowers' way as his primary target. Denver is around the middle of the league regarding fantasy points allowed to tight ends. The Raiders rookie tight end has had solid games, catching 15 passes on 17 targets for 176 yards in his first two games, so he should see similar target numbers this week. Bowers is a must-start in fantasy and ranked third in the latest RotoBaller tight end rankings.--John Johnson - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Alexander Mattison should see a bigger workload against the Denver Broncos with Zamir White (groin) doubtful to play in Week 5. Despite the fact the Broncos have an adamant defense, Mattison should see an extended workload, with White not expected to play. Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce has expressed confidence in Mattison and indicated that he's earned a bigger share of the backfield touches after the current lead back struggled this season. The former Minnesota Vikings may not find much running room against Denver, though, as they rank eighth least in PPR fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. Mattison may have to rely on his pass-catching ability to be fantasy-relevant this week and is on the flex radar with the uptick in touches. Starting unproductive players on bad offenses facing great defenses is a recipe for fantasy football disaster for your teams. The 26-year-old should be rostered, but he is mainly a borderline flex option for Week 5.--John Johnson - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoLas Vegas Raiders' starting quarterback Gardner Minshew II will face an elite defense in Week 5 when his team squares off on the road with the Denver Broncos in a crucial divisional showdown. He will be without his top receiver, Davante Adams (hamstring), and Denver already allows just 15.0 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, the fifth lowest in the league. The Broncos are coming off a dominant defensive performance against the New York Jets, holding them to just nine total points. They sacked Rodgers five times and forced one Jets fumble. Denver locked down the Jets' offense last Sunday as New York was just 4-for-17 on third down conversions and 0-for-1 on fourth down. Minshew has been uninspiring as the Raiders' lead signal-caller thus far and is not worth starting in single-quarterback leagues, and that won't change this week. Minshew is mainly an option for 2QB or superflex leagues, but with the tough matchup, fantasy managers might want to go a different direction in those league formats.--John Johnson - RotoBallerSource: Google

2 days agoLas Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers will face his toughest challenge in Week 5 when he faces the Denver Broncos. Cornerback Patrick Surtain II is Denver's brightest superstar, and he typically shadows the opposing team's No. 1 receiver. That will be Meyers this week. Surtain has shadowed many great wide receivers and locked them down this season. D.K. Metcalf (29 yards), George Pickens (16 yards), Mike Evans (eight yards), and Garrett Wilson (22 yards) have all fallen victim to Surtain's shutdown ability. Life will be hard for Jakobi without lead WR Davante Adams (hamstring) drawing away coverage. The Broncos' defense as a whole is elite, and it wouldn't be surprising if the flailing Raiders offense can't get anything going. Meyers is on the flex radar in deep leagues despite the tough matchup.--John Johnson - RotoBallerSource: Zack Kelberman

2 days agoAtlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts converted eight targets into seven catches for 88 yards during Thursday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The young tight end still hasn't blossomed into a consistent fantasy option, but his productive showing in Week 5 was a step in the right direction. Of course, it was aided by a historic performance by Kirk Cousins, who attempted a whopping 58 passes and tallied a franchise-record 509 yards through the air. This type of yardage likely isn't sustainable for Cousins, but it's possible that his rapport with Pitts will hold strong moving forward. He remains a mid-to-low fantasy TE1 for Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

2 days agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney caught nine of 16 targets for 105 yards and two touchdowns during Thursday's overtime win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was Kirk Cousins' most-targeted teammate as the quarterback attempted 58 passes for a franchise-record 509 yards through the air. Mooney delivered one of the best fantasy performances of his career, and he would've added even more points had he been able to catch a fourth-quarter pass that ultimately went through his hands and hit his chest. The 26-year-old seems to be enjoying a resurgence after leaving the Chicago Bears in free agency. Over his last four contests as a Falcon, Mooney is averaging 18.4 fantasy points per game. He ranks as an appealing WR3/FLEX for Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

2 days agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London caught 12 of 13 targets for 154 yards and one touchdown during Thursday's overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. London was one of the main beneficiaries as quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for a franchise-record 509 yards in Week 5. London is now averaging 20.5 fantasy points (PPR) per game over the last four weeks, vaulting him into the high-end WR2 territory with WR1 upside. The 23-year-old can finally be trusted in fantasy lineups week after week. He's a must-start option heading into Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller
