New York Knicks guard Miles McBride (hamstring) was expected to get a spot start on Wednesday in place of Jalen Brunson (calf), but a the last minute McBride was replaced in the lineup by Cameron Payne. McBride was initially questionable and then ruled out due to a hamstring issue, which also has him questionable for Friday's game against the Thunder. McBride would be an interesting value play if he starts in place of Brunson and even has some value off the bench since he is averaging 9.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 24.5 minutes per game off the bench. If McBride is out, Payne would serve as the primary backup to Brunson unless Brunson is also out, which would open the door for Payne to get a second straight start. On Wednesday, Payne finished with eight points, nine assists, and three rebounds while logging 36 minutes against the Jazz.--Zach Thompson
