The Atheltic's Zack Rosenblatt writes that former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is viewed as the New York Jets' No. 1 choice for their head-coach opening. The Jets are casting a wide net, though, so their expansive search for a new head coach isn't expected to be wrapped up for a few weeks. If the Jets don't get their guy in Vrabel, Rosenblatt expects Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn to be at or near the top of their wish list. Glenn, a former defensive back, previously played with the Jets, is highly regarded in the building and is close with former Jets head coach Bill Parcells. Former Jets head coach Rex Ryan hasn't coached in the NFL since he was fired by the Bills in 2016, but he's also the last head coach to lead the Jets to the playoffs.--Keith Hernandez
