Maverick McNealy Looks To Stay Hot In Hawaii
20 hours agoMaverick McNealy is arguably enjoying one of the best stretches of golf in his five-year PGA Tour career. Aside from a WD due to an illness at the ZOZO Championship, the 29-year-old California native hasn't finished worse than T17 in his last six starts, a stretch of golf that also included his first Tour victory at the RSM Classic in late November. His dominant tee-to-green play continued last week at The Sentry, and Waialae Country Club has historically been kind to golfers who teed off at Kapalua the prior week. McNealy could very well continue his hot streak, as he ranks 15th off-the-tee, fifth in opportunities gained, 20th in birdie-or-better percentage, and eighth in bogey avoidance over the last 36 rounds. He's also gained strokes putting in 10 of his 12 career rounds at Waialae. Fantasy managers should not hesitate to roster McNealy at his $9,200 DraftKings salary at the Sony Open.
