Matt Boldy Tallies Three Helpers In Victory
Minnesota Wild left wing Matt Boldy dished out three helpers during their victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday evening. In the opening frame, Boldy tallied his first helper with a primary assist on Jared Spurgeon's strike. In the second, Boldy would tack on the secondary assist on Joel Eriksson Ek's power-play goal. Then, in the final frame, Boldy would add another primary assist on Marcus Foligno's empty-netter. Boldy tallied four shots on goal and added a blocked shot. Over his previous 11 contests, Boldy has tallied an impressive 14 points (five goals, nine helpers), with four of the points coming on the man advantage. During this stretch, he has also averaged 3.7 shots on goal per game and a +3 rating. Boldy will look to stay hot on Wednesday when they face the Toronto Maple Leafs.
