According to the NFL's Ian Rapoport, Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson is a "name to watch" regarding the Las Vegas Raiders head-coaching job. Johnson is a highly sought-after candidate yet again in the coaching cycle, which comes as little surprise considering the success he's bolstered since taking over the position for the team. Since 2022, the Lions have ranked in the top five in the league regarding points per game -- landing at the top spot in 2024 with 33.2. Johnson has already interviewed virtually with New England, Jacksonville, and Chicago. However, his involvement with the Raiders appears to have some of Tom Brady's influence behind it. Rapoport reports that Brady personally vouched for the offensive coordinator and "implored him" to take the interview. With the NFL Insider also noting that Las Vegas is willing to wait "as long as it takes" to fill their coaching vacancies, it appears they're in on the Lions' play-caller for the long haul.--Alex Ciulla
