Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (illness) is unavailable for Friday's matchup with his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Irving didn't appear on the Mavs initial injury report but has since been downgraded to out due to an illness. The 32-year-olds next chance to suit up comes on Monday versus the Grizzlies. With Luka Doncic (calf) also out, veteran Klay Thompson, Spencer Dinwiddie and Quentin Grimes will see extra minutes and plenty of scoring opportunities.--Andrew Lennox
