Vancouver Canucks winger Kiefer Sherwood (undisclosed) has not joined the team for the start of a three-game road trip. He was injured in Saturday's win over the Washington Capitals and will sit out Monday's contest against the St. Louis Blues. However, Sherwood's absence may be limited to only one game. Vancouver hopes to see him join the team during the trip, which also features stops in Nashville and Dallas next week. Sherwood is stuck in a five-game offensive slump but has enjoyed his first campaign with the Canucks. He boasts a career-high 13 goals and 21 points through 47 outings with a league-high 273 hits.--Taavi Pailk
