Juan Soto Could Be Sneaky Option on Thursday
6 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto, against conventional wisdom, could have the platoon advantage against New York Mets left-hander Steven Matz on Thursday at Citi Field. In 45 at-bats this season, the left-handed Soto is hitting .356 with four home runs and 10 RBI against southpaws. Unfortunately, Matz has been dominant against lefties as well. Something has to give, but Soto's track record suggests that he could be a key part of the Nationals offense in New York.
