The New York Jets requested an interview with Cincinnati Bengals senior personnel executive Trey Brown for their general manager job, according to a source. Brown functions as the assistant GM for the Bengals and has been in the mix for several other front-office jobs in recent years around the league. Earlier in his career, Brown served as the director of college scouting for the Philadelphia Eagles and he's also worked for the New England Patriots. He has been working for the Bengals since 2021 and has plenty of experience with NFL roster management. Brown won several Super Bowl rings with the Patriots and also played as a cornerback in the NFL before transitioning into an executive role. In his time with Cincinnati, he has essentially been the right-hand man for director of player personnel Duke Tobin.--Keith Hernandez
