Day now turns his focus to the Farmers Insurance Open, an event where he has had significant success. In 15 starts at this event, Day has made the cut 10 times, posted eight top-25 finishes, and won twice. Hitting fairways and greens in regulation will be key this week, and Day currently ranks fifth on tour in greens-in-regulation percentage at 84.03%. When he misses the green, Day is also one of the best on tour, ranking ninth last season in scrambling under 10 yards and ninth in strokes gained in putting.
